We had an amazing time at Alfie's! The atmosphere and service were excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the sides were delicious. The value for the quality of the steak was impressive. The sides we ordered were tasty and just the right size. I especially liked the Bubble and Squeak. Even the complimentary onion scones were tasty, however, the gelato on stick was a bit salty though.
Having just one type of steak and sharing sides was a great concept. Highly recommended 👌

If you go to the Resturant before 6pm. It have promo drink .i buy a cup of beer just 3 dollar but is just 220 ml.

Steak is good . The scone before the serve is good

Delicious steak with amazing sides. We were advised to get 4 1/2 serve sides or 2 full slides. We got a full side of chips and curry sauce and 1/2 butter lettuce salad and 1/2 carrots with feta. The sides were very large and unfortunately we were too full for dessert. The wine list was extensive, however very expensive. I would have enjoyed a glass of red but I didn’t want to spend $20+ on glass that I may not like.

The complimentary scones were delicious as well.

The steak was cooked to perfection! Loved the selection of sides. We got mushroom, cucumber salad, roasted carrots and of course the chips with curry sauce which was surprisingly delicious. Will be coming back again 🤤

Serves only one kind of steak and a number of sides that you can have full or half portion. Steak was tender and flavorful. Had the mushrooms as a side. Service was attentive. Reasonable price

Cant speak high enough about this bar/restaurant, we made a last minute booking on a Friday night very close to Christmas and the wonderful staff here were very accomodating, polite and professional.

They have a nice variety of drinks to choose from, which range from a nice mix of cocktails, to beers and spirits.

The bar tenders love their job and you can tell by the passion and care they put into making their drinks.

To top it off the food was top notch, we ordered the sirloin, carrots, mushrooms, potato gratin and chips which was more than enough.

Overall, great place for a date night and even a night or evening out with a group of friends, cant recommend this place enough. Hats off to all the staff there

Exceptional service and a great happy hour offering. We were seated in the main dining area with drinks already ordered but were later told we were not able to order the happy hour bar food. Still, the team was warm and courteous and quickly offered for us to move to the bar area which we appreciated because the beef butty was delicious.

Loved it! Allie was an amazing server, Anthony & Luke made me stellar drinks and I had an all around amazing time. Compliments to the chef - the food was superb, and my brothers birthday dinner couldn’t have been better. Will come again :)

SO GOOD, I high recommend it! I dined with my family for a pre-theatre dinner. We booked in advance for 5.45pm but they let sit a bit earlier. The happy hour is lit with $3 butchers (half schooner) and $10 wines 😜 - it runs 4-6pm everyday! We started with scones and onion jam, which replaced the traditional bread and butter AND was free.

For 4ppl, we ordered one sirloin, one spit roast beefetta as well as half portions of mushroom, cucumber, chips w curry and potato gratin. It was quite filling but I wanted to get dessert so we also ordered one gelato on a stick and one caramel dark choc olive oil tart to share. The chocolate coated gelato was delicious, while the tart was very interesting - you could actually taste all the flavours and it wasn’t very sweet. I’ll definitely be back 🤭

Amazing steak considering the price, along with a good range of alcohol, and super friendly service. The entire vibe of this restaurant is perfect. I would highly recommend this place.

Complimentary bread to start off with. The steak was nicely cooked (medium-rare is recommended) and of good quality for only $38!

The sides we ordered were delicious and well portioned for half-size. I really enjoyed the creaminess of the potato gratin, and the flavours of the cucumber salad.

We were a walk in party and were told we would have to join the waiting list, however they were able to accommodate us almost immediately :)

Alfie’s is a little gem! Bar the steak knives being a little blunt everything else was exceptional! Service. Food. More! The steaks were perfectly cooked 10/10, wine glasses clean and sparkling, service as a la carte! Keep up the great work we sure will be back for more of Alfie’s to come!

Was very excited to try the steak at Alfie’s and it definitely did not disappoint. Ordered the steak medium rare and it was prepared perfectly. We got the full portion of the roast mushrooms, bubble and squeak slaw(yum!), hot chips and potato gratin. Portions were decent and price was reasonable. They also have happy hour from 5-6pm which we’ll have to come back for. A fair selection of drinks available, I got the tanqueray gin cocktail which was amazing. We had the table booked at 5:30 and the next booking was at 6:45. Whilst the food came out quite quickly we did feel like it was a little rushed however the staff did offer to move us to the lounge area.

We had such an amazing experience at Alfie's! The food and service was sensational. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were all delicious and full of flavour.
We especially loved the mushrooms and the potato gratin is a must.
Our waitress Allie was fabulous and attentive, whilst giving fantastic food and wine recommendations.

A very impressive establishment, they don’t overcomplicate steak by offering a very basic menu - just 1 cut of steak, Sirloin and a range of sides to choose from! The steak was cooked perfectly with a beautiful crust on the outside and soft and delicate on the inside. The sides were so delicious, we got the carrots, mushrooms and potato - all defs recommended!

Seated straight away, quick service.
The guy who handed us our dishes had so much enthusiasm and really made us all the more excited for the meal. The steak was rarer than the medium-rare we ordered, but it was still great.

Casual dining is not too fancy inside but no AC, so it was uncomfortably warm on a hot summer night.

Drinks were all amazing. The video nasty was my highlight of the night.

Treacle tart was somewhat average - not too sure I would reorder again. I also wouldn't reorder the risoni side dish. It felt a bit lacklustre in comparison to the other sides we ordered (mushrooms, carrots, and the potato gratin).

New favourite on a short trip back to Syd after being abroad for almost two years. Food and ambience were great. Booked the table once the booking system allowed (1 month ago) but the comment for a nicer table was basically ignored even the place had not at all been full and no one was sitting in the whole area near entry where I wanted my table during our entire meal.

Interesting take on porterhouse steak,very tasty and excellent mouth feel.Who knows how they do it! Sides all very nice too and fries to suit connoisseurs.Excellent wine list. Service high level.The decor artistic and a touch Demi monde. Tres bon!
