Kan Sushi & Poke

I love Kan Sushi and Poke :) I have always had a good experience whether dining in or ordering delivered. Food is prepared fast when dining in and it is well packaged when delivered. A great variety of options on the menu. The special rolls (kan, lion king and tiger) are my favourite. Pictured is the Kan special roll, small tempura plate and miso soup. (I had already eaten a piece of sushi before I decided to take a photo). Highly recommend!

Really impressed by this tiny little restaurant that punches well above its weight. The rolls were well crafted with beautifully fresh fish. Food comes out quite quickly as well! Not many places can do both sushi and tempura but the tempura was of a very high standard too. I thought it was fairly priced given the quality of the food.

After Raku (which is more fancy and expensive) this is my go to place to get Japanese food.

The poke bowls here are really as amazing as people said they are. I'm glad we went here to try it out. Best poke bowls in Canberra. The other food were also highly rated. Yours truly @fooderarri

I accidentally ordered something that had salmon on it as I don’t like salmon BUT the freshness and the delicious sauce and quality of the entire meal brought this dish to a whole other level.

I was able to handle the salmon as it was very fresh and didn’t have the typical sitting in the fridge for days taste.

Food was quick, price was on point with the quality and definitely will be coming back.

Ordered a chicken teriyaki poke bowl for takeaway - prettiest bowl of poke I've had, yummiest I've had! Didn't even remember to put the provided dressing in! The flavours and textures just come together so well - fresh greens, sweet crispy chicken, crunchy fried onions...

Went to Canberra for my embassy appointment. Ordered the beef bibimbap for takeaway and enjoyed it much at my hostel nearby. Fast service, delightful taste. The glasses cashier she was really nice & helpful ^^

They do have the most fresh sushi, and I loved their hot udon as the weather was crazy cold. As they open newly, the interior also looks nice and clean. I absolutely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a clean and delicious asian restaurant.

My favourite spot for casual sushi in Canberra! It’s a tiny hole in the wall store a short walkable distance from the Canberra Centre. Super fresh sashimi, huge sushi rolls, and delicious poke bowls.

My fave is the grilled salmon. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful Japanese food. We’ve been quite a few times now. Most recently (pictured) my partner and I had tempura vegetables and prawns, teriyaki salmon and sashimi. 10/10, will be back again and again 😊

Went on the weekend to try and enjoy the friendly team and fabulous clean fresh and tasty variety of food. Love it and will be our regular place.

When there is a line to order, you know it's popular among the locals. Food is fresh and top quality. Ordered the salmon poke bowl and beef soba. Both super tasty. Would go back for more !

Small Japanese restaurant tucked away next to Alicia Payne’s office. Good food with fresh fish and friendly service, would recommend, delivery orders too.

Ordered sushi bento ($30) and was extremely full and satisfied.

Staff were friendly, food came out super fast and fresh! The only minuscule thing is that they don't offer tap water and you have to buy a bottle. Other than that great food and variety!
There is limited seating inside which quickly fills up, small space but can't fault it too much because of their food!

Always the meals have been prepared quickly and quite comprehensive packaging is provided for takeaway.

Thoroughly enjoyed, clean and fast made to order meals

I got the chicken teriyaki poke bowl and it was the greatest poke bowl I’ve ever eaten. It was so good I sat in shock for 10 minutes after eating it. Thank you Kan sushi and poke for making Canberra a better place with this fine establishment.
