Looks the bush had a recent fire. You can still smell the burnt wood smell as you walk through the trail.

Pleasant easy walk, the sand was beautiful on your feet. The birds were going crazy it’s very beautiful to see the chaos in the sky.

When you get to the main beach it took approx 10mins and it’s super relaxing and there’s not many people around when I went. You can see the light House a long distance away, recommend grabbing some food and drinks and a very good beach towel

This is the very best beach in New South Wales. Part of the Seven Mile Beach, there is so much space that you can feel alone, even on a most busy day when all of the parking space is taken. Curious crabs occupy the beach. Give them time to show themselves. Also, the ocean is amazing. The current and the waves are strong, so be cautious how in the water you want to venture. People do surf here. No life-saving on the beach

Beautiful beach, next to a little mountain that makes it look even more beautiful.
A lot of waves, maybe a little bit too big if your plan is going for a swim.
We thought there might be a walking trail but all paths between the trees seem to lead nowhere.
I recommend!

Love it. Tallow beach is awesome.
Great waves bit hard for newbie surfers. A little rippy watch it.
Great for dogs at the other end.
10/10 on the bear surf report

If you enjoy long walks on the beach whilst taking a long walk on the beach this place is a must. It's got sandy sand, no rocks and even water.
It was cold and night time when I went but I'm sure it would be beautiful in the sunlight.

You can enter the park from different spots. Nice to walk in the park before you head to the beach.

Away form the maddening crowd!
Lovely fire trails and very long beach walks ( lets just say, many Kms/miles....). Not a beach to swim at as there is no life guards, although for children there is a delightful lagoon to paddle in.
Please respect the National park, by not bring pets and leave no rubbish. Like the saying goes... leave only foot prints!

wild.quiet.know where you get on and off it can be a tad confusing..we came across a French girl who was hopelessly lost and her gps wasn't helping her.
very beautiful though ,i think if the council tried a bit harder with signage it would be a great help..we bumped into some local boys who were having a ball, they directed us back to where we needed to be😉

Just do it. We started the day at Byron Bay. We headed to Mullumbimby for a coffee then went up to Uki and around Nightcap National Park to Nimbin where we had lunch. Spent about 3 hours in Nimbin then continued to The Channon then had afternoon tea and coffee at Bangalow. Lovely day!
