Just found my go-to wine store for when I’m visiting Byron Bay ! Such a cool and vibey little gem of a place. The selection is like no other – full of lots of interesting wines from all over the world and the knowledge behind each of these wines was just so fascinating… I could easily spend hours there! I felt at ease allowing Megan - the vibrant and passionate wine expert – guide me through her recommendations based on my style. And she did not disappoint – I went for my go – to type of wine and also something completely different and LOVED them. Well worth the hour drive to source some exciting independent wine makers and taste wines out of my comfort zone.

WOW! I'm so lucky to stumble across this little gem! The staff (Meagan I believe) she was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, helping me find the perfect bottle for my occasion. Highly recommend Luna Wine Store for anyone seeking exceptional service, great prices, and an outstanding wine selection! A big part of the Byron Community and now my local wine store :)

Best wine store in the Northern Rivers. Great variety of wines, with a big selection of low intervention and natural wines. Some really interesting drops from countries like Austria or Georgia, which you would struggle to find anywhere else in Australia. The staff are super knowledgeable and helpful, and there's a free wine tasting in the store every Friday. Great options for every budget, but watch out, with so many good choices you always leave with a few more bottles than you've planned!

As someone relatively new to buying wine the thought of a natural wine store was intimidating at first.

The staff at Luna elevated my fears immediately through genuine and friendly interactions, real people passionate about wine who are willing to take the time to share their knowledge and help me not only understand what it actually was I wanted but help me find the right wine.

I now look forward to my visits at Luna and trying new things I didn’t even know I liked.

Gem of a wine shop hiding in plain sight in Byron. Forget the big box shops and go get yourself a nice bottle. Tightly curated list that doesn’t overwhelm, especially with the help of one of the shop keepers (if you’re extra lucky it’ll be the knowledgeable, approachable and intuitive Meagan). You won’t be disappointed.

Definitely the best wine store in the Bay. Love their Friday afternoon tastings and listening to the staff educate us on the wine we're tasting. They're so knowledgeable and I could listen for hours. It's my go-to shop for natural wines where I know I'm always going to get a great recommendation for something delish.

What a treat for locals and visitors to the Byron region having a world class bottle shop in our backyard. Luna is like an adults playgrounds! Be guided by some seriously knowledgeable wine professionals in finding the perfect bottle or bottles for every occasion. Luna has something for every taste!

An amazing selection of wines and producers, but it’s the guidance and knowledge of their team that make choosing the right wine so easy. I Always leave with a good bottle in hand, and the best part is I always learn something new too. Bravo!

Wanted to send a few bottles of something nice to a friend in Yamba so i emailed these guys. A guy named Sam got back to me very quickly and he was the biggest legend, even went as far as sending me some photos of the little cocktails they had in stock.
Helped me pick out some delicious wines and organised delivery for me. Level of service was above and beyond. Thanks Sam! x :)

Byron's Local Wine Shop specialising in organic and biodynamic wines. Warm staff with depths of knowledge on the cannon of organic wine. Perfectly curated, with something for everyone....from Grower Champagne, saké, aged wines, fun wines, serious wines. Do yourself a favour, pop-in, and pick-up something truly unique and expressive!
