My partner and I drove from Gold Coast to Byron for a day trip while on holiday. We didn’t have a booking here but were given a table outside looking at the ocean. Staff were all amazing. And the food was just more than we could ever imagine. Was an absolute treat. We will certainly be back next time we visit. Thank you guys 🤌

Great service by the team today. The food was excellent, crisp and fresh. The venue manager had some great humour which created a very welcoming environment. Minimal wait time even though the venue was clearly pumping today.

We were also lucky enough to share our spot with the local Eastern Water Dragon. 🩵

Thanks guys! 😃

Food and service was amazing 👏 😍 great value for fresh seafood paired with friendly staff! The seafood mixed grill was the best value for money, the calamari and Moreton bay bug was the highlight for me. They deserve a higher rating!

Great atmosphere and great food! Sit at the tables next to the railing and you can see the ocean. The oysters, Morton Bay rolls, and the fish and chips were awesome! Cocktails and beer were great. As we were leaving, I saw they had a cocktail paddle, which included 4 of their signature cocktails. I will come back to taste those, have more of their delicious menu and enjoy the atmosphere again!

We had breakfast 02/09/23. I have been coming to this restaurant for over 30years. Nothing has changed - the food continues to be amazing, the service wonderful, the view stunning, the sound of the crashing waves is also a plus and watching the whales head past too! And there is the resident Water Dragon Harry is a bonus! Oh and we took a very large muffin to share in the afternoon - amazing! Highly recommend you book though or you may miss out on a wonderful meal!

Came back again after few years. Love the vibe and food. It was tasty. There was around $6.xx surcharge for weekend. It was bit unexpected.

We really enjoyed our night dining at Fishheads. The service was incredible with all the staff being friendly and attentive. The food was fresh & delicious paired with a great vibe. We had the happy hour special which was fantastic value made up of cooked prawns & 2 glasses of wine. We also had the mixed grill for main and enjoyed everything on our plates. Would highly recommend!

Great vista, awesome cocktails (we should know we go to try 4 as we had the paddle featuring local spirits), and let's not forget the seafood, which was rather yummy and super fresh.

The staff were so friendly from the moment we walked in. Our 6 yr old was given textas and colouring sheets to keep her occupied. We ordered the seafood platter for 2 and it was divine! Full of delicious fresh seafood. Our children ordered fish basket, calamari, pasta and were all very satisfied with their meals. Generous servings. Well priced.

This is a seriously good restaurant. The food was absolutely superb. My wife had the garlic and chilli prawns entree. She also had the lemon sole which was huge and superbly cooked.
I made up my own seafood platter of salt and pepper squid, grilled prawns (3), whiting (4) and Moreton Bay bugs (2) and it was fantastic!
The Argentine girl who served up was excellent.
Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

We visited fish heads two nights in a row whilst vacationing in Byron for our 3 day trip; absolutely amazing service, food and atmosphere.
The price of the food in comparison to other restaurants on the Main Street is good especially considering the beach views which the other restaurants don’t offer on Main Street.
Again, service was amazing such a friendly and inviting energy that they brought to the table they were also extremely attentive.
The place isn’t too crowded, I would probably make a reservation if I went on a weekend through the week it’s fine just to walk in.
Would definitely recommend and add to your must go list in Bryon!

A gorgeous location on Main Beach - we had a wonderful dinner here. The staff were just lovely and so accommodating - especially when we asked to move the 5 of us to another table half way through dinner! :) The food was delicious too and service was great! Loved the salt n pepper squid & seafood platter - and was so appreciative for all the GF options for our son! Thank you Fishheads - we will be back!

This place has a killer view that's hard to beat, and the cocktails? Absolutely on point. We tried a couple, each one showcasing some amazing local spirits – seriously good stuff. And the seafood deserves a shoutout too – super fresh and really tasty. It's a chill spot with a great vibe, perfect for kicking back and enjoying the good things in life. Definitely worth a return visit. 🍹🌊🐟

Had lunch with hubby. What a great place to eat. Views of the ocean and the lighthouse. Great friendly fast service. And food was delicious. Hold the chilli but I loved your garlic 🌶 prawns. Hubby had the fish & chips and yummy salad. 10 out 10 to the chef.
