Toro Robata Sushi

Came here for dinner with a group. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The food was all delicious!! Luckily we had a big round table, which enables us to order lots of different dishes to share. Would definitely recommend having dinner here, and would look forward to coming again!

The best sushi restaurant I have been to in Wollongong. Great food. The sushi rolls are delicious. The beef skewers were the best, full of flavour. They make everything fresh and even the wasabi is great. The restaurant location is the best and the restaurant has a nice decor. One odd thing .. there is no dessert on the menu. Would have loved to have some Mochi. Not a big deal.. Definitely will be back again. One thing to be aware is the cost is $$, but worth it.

We we're visiting Wollongong and decided to come to Toro sushi. IT WAS SO GOOD! The karage chicken was amazing with the sauce and the beef sushi roll was delicious! Staff were super friendly and the food was speedy. Love the blossom tree decoration it really enhanced the whole experience. Definetly recommend.

I ordered Takeaway but the experience stepping inside is enough for me to come back and eat in. It's stunning! The food is made fresh by order. The sushi I have ever come across and i believe it's all due to how fresh it is. I definitely recommend and cannot wait to return just to eat in.

Easily one of my favourite restaurants in Wollongong, and undoubtedly the best in the area for Japanese food. Their lunchtime Bento boxes are amazing. Generous portions, perfect flavours, and plated up to look like works of art. Dinner menu is also exquisite - would especially recommend their teriyaki barramundi and their poke bowls. The (artificial) cherry blossom tree in the middle of the restaurant makes eating here feel whimsical and special, while the mural at the back adds an edgy touch. Staff are lovely and service is excellent. Not the cheapest option, but one of the best. I recommend this restaurant to friends all the time

One of the freshest sushi you can find in NSW. Even on par with Sake and Masuya!

Every time we had lunch we come out with happy smiles. We tried defence one everything so good so clean so fresh so tasty well done to all who's cooked our meals the staff so friendly. Also I wanted to mention they bathroom so clean . Best Japanese restaurant in Wollongong

The owner really impresses me with his attention to detail and how 'on the ball' he is with his staff and customers. Watching his attitude and how he manages his restaurant is impressive. The food is ALWAYS tasting beautifully and comes out with record timing. The decor is stunning and well thought out. The staff that greeted us were welcoming and very attentive. The heart of Wollongong deserves such a romantic restaurant. I wish i couldve spoken to the owner to get insight on how much experience he's had as its evident this isnt his first time managing a very busy restaurant. My partner and i will definitely be back to sit under the cherry blossom tree eating our beautifully designed food.

Hands down the best Japanese restaurant in The Gong. Fresh quality sashimi and sushi with beautiful presentation. The lunch bento boxes are well portioned and have good variety. The udon noodles are silky smooth and the pork was very flavoursome.

Service was friendly and attentive. Loved the decor with lots of natural light and a massive cherry blossom tree inside.

Fair exceeded my expectation, highly recommended.

Super fresh sashimi, gorgeous plating. Delicious sushi, okonomiyaki and gyozas. Everything we ordered was fantastic and 5 out of 5 stars. Good value.
Have dined there a few times and always great food and service.

If you’re looking for amazing food, you definitely need to eat at Toro Robata Sushi.

All the staff here are extremely friendly and are more than willing to alter the sushi combinations to suit your tastes. While the sushi is of a high standard the meals were a highlight for me. I had the teriyaki salmon and it was cooked to perfection. Even my kids ate everything on their plate.

Initially I thought the pricing was high but once the meals came you can see why it is slightly dearer than somewhere like sushi train. The quality of the food is of a much higher standard and they are big serves!

This will definitely be our go to sushi restaurant from now on.

Fresh. Always fresh. Been here a fair few times also and all I can say was I was stuffed by the end of it. The staff were beautiful and helpful and the food was presented so dramatically it added to the experience. Thank you! Great work!

Came here last night with a group of friends. We all loved it, everyone thought the food was great. The Karaage chicken entree was incredible. Sashimi was nice and fresh and beautifully presented. I had the grilled salmon chef roll which was very delicious. I tried a bit of the seafood pancake and would definitely order that next time!
The restaurant itself is set out really nice and the staff were attentive and friendly.
The food came out as soon as each dish was prepared so we did it have to wait long at all.
Can’t wait to come back here again and try some more dishes out, there is plenty of choice on their menu.

Absolutely lovely place! Food was so good, service was super fast and friendly and the whole restaurant feels very comfortable and chill. Food arrived very quickly, and the sake was one of the best we’ve ever tried. 5/5 stars

Good food, good taste. Drop past last night and it was closed. I’m glad I came in tonight, staff friendly and ambiance is nice (music abit to loud) other than that it was a perfect night out.

Pricey but flavours on point. Carpaccios are a must. I was so pleased with the Tomago sushi.
We have come here multiple times by now.

Oh my that fillet migneon...it was so damn good !

This is my regular Sushi joint. What an extensive menu. Only downfall is....no proper dessert.
