I was in the store when the last reviewer was in the shop "Anne Taylor".

She wanted 2 different bags of chick feed split and mixed. The wonderful staff member politely said she couldn't do this because she wouldn't be able to sell the 2 remaining half bags (completely understandable).

Then Anne Taylor started verbally abusing the staff member, and I was shocked by the language used. She certainly didn't receive any vet nurse advice either.

I always have a great experience with the staff here.

Narelle the owner is very easy to deal with and checked our dog over thoroughly when she groomed her.

The nurse at the front counter literally saved my one week old kitten’s life — I am seriously forever indebted to these incredible people! One of my kittens was fading quickly and was refusing to nurse and so I rushed out in a panic and looked everywhere for formula and they were the only ones who had it and were open!! And the nurse gave me baby syringes to use to feed this sweet little creature and gave me all the advice I needed because my vet was taking a long time to call me back — anyway, this kitten is now THRIVING and the staff at Bittern Petz were seriously the nicest people ever. They were exactly what I needed: kind, empathetic, knowledgable, capable! Thank you so much!!!

Small store but seem to have a lot on offer. The team are super helpful and usually have decent sales too.

Super helpful staff with a great range of products, and if they don't have it (unlikely) they'll order it in for you. Helpful advice on a great range of pets supplies with special assistance if you have a pet with issues. Highly recommended
