Phase Two

Whenever I head to Balnarring, I pop into Phase Two. I love the Commonfolk Coffee, and the food is always fresh and delicious. This time, hubby had the Eggs Benedict and I opted for the fritters. Both were thoroughly enjoyed. Friendly staff and plenty of room inside or out in the sunshine.

Had a great experience at this cafe.
Went here on the weekend and they were packed but the team was handling it like a pro and very accomodating☺
The place has a very cute vibe to it, with lots of plant hangings!
Menu is on the smaller side but has great options. I do love a place that would take that direction and do it right!
Food was delicious, coffee was really good and the Portuguese tart is one of the best I’ve had!
Will be back here when in the area next♥

What a delight of a place. The food, my brekkie wrap, was hot and very tasty. Service was excellent, staff very friendly and cheerful. They were very helpful in getting me and my walker seated. A steady traffic of customers. Highly recommend.

Good food and good coffee, and probably one of the few cafes that have the best presentation of food. Not a very big place but they do have seats outside. The staff was very friendly, and we definitely enjoy our brunch here.

Have come to this Cafe a few times this year and every time without fail the staff have been so kind and welcoming, providing very quick and quality service despite being busy. The food always comes out quick (within 5 minutes) and coffee almost right after ordering. My friend said it was the best eggs she has ever had and the Avocado to go dish was delicious. I highly recommend this place

An awesome little Cafe to visit very popular on the weekends with cyclists, locals & those who are travelling around the area! Wonderful staff very friendly service & quick ordering 😀 plenty of seating outside weather dependant lovely country atmosphere with shops very close by. Absolutely would recommend to anyone stopping by come check this place out will not disappoint!

Went here with my hubby for lunch on the spur of the moment. We had a lovely lady greet us who was super accomodating and helpful in meeting our needs. The food was lovely and again, they were very accommodating of dietary needs. It was a lovely atmosphere with music too. Highly recommend.

Most certainly one of the best breakfasts on the Peninsula. It’s the food! Whether it’s healthy or decadent, the attention to detail and perfect serving combinations are always beautiful to look at and wonderful to eat. Had the “Apple Crumble Porridge” this morning and it was impeccable and delicious, right down to the tasty little flowers. Keep it up!

We found this highly reviewed cafe and paid our 1st visit here. Phase two was very popular and full of people and the quality was spectacular. We totally love our experience here and the food and coffee were both spectacular!!! Especially the beef burger, it was smashingly delicious, my wife totally loved it....the staff were super friendly too!!! love this place....

Staff service is fantastic. We came here 3 times on our trip from Adelaide and each time were greeted by lovely, happy staff. Coffee is the best we've had on the peninsula. Food offering is really nice. Dog friendly outside without silly, unwritten rules like some places in Somers. Highly recommend Phase 2.

Being the coffee snob city folk that we are, we didn’t have high hopes trying to find a passable brew while away from home. But wow were we surprised by this place. The coffee is up there with the best and the giant cookie brought out my inner child and was delicious.

This place is amazing; a gem in Balnarring. Of note, Hurley’s Hero - zucchini fritters, eggs and salmon rillette - is the best brunch dish I’ve ever had - it is literally Michelin-star worthy. Coffee is also fantastic, as are the staff! Friendly and efficient.

This place gets crazy busy though, even on a freezing winter morning, so you may have to wait a little for a table. Lots of cute shops to explore as well in the area once you’re done, and of course the beach. We make a little half day morning trip out of Balnarring, based off this cafe alone. 5/5

Lovely food and great coffee. It's definitely worth stopping by for a bite to eat if you're passing through Balnarring. The large coffee I ordered was probably too big and would have gotten a smaller size if I went back.

Amazing coffee, quietly placed cafe, with such friendly staff and relaxing feel. I think I found my local! If you don’t know what you want, recommend the half/half board 🤤.
