Manly Boathouse

Our family are big fans of the restaurant because the food and service is consistently wonderful. Most recently we celebrated my brother's birthday and the staff were so great about allowing us to bring in our own cake and then absolutely exceeded our expectations by serving it with ice cream and fresh berries! Sam looked after us and he had fun energy and endless patience.

We don't mind the drive over to Manly just for this.

Fresh & succulent fish with a thin layer of crispy batter. Hands down one of the best that we'll keep coming back for more!

We've been back many times, brought friends and tried the bar snacks with table service as well.

We still gravitate back to the fish & chips.
Affordable price point too given the service received as well as excellent quality of produce!

This is really a venue where you could enjoy delicious cocktails, 5 star meals with panoramic view of the ocean and the yachts. This open setting is airy and has that beach house feel. Service is really good. The menu has a variety of dishes depending on your occasion. There is an outside setting with umbrellas and lounges or a more tradition table setting inside. There is no play area for kids. Free Street parking. Take something warm for late afternoons as the sea breeze could get cool. We really had an amazing lunch and will definitely return.

Lovely food. Service was a bit slow but friendly and attentive enough. Pleasing aesthetics, but felt a bit loud inside the restaurant. Poor weather day meant it was less busy than usual, so we were able to dine indoors without a booking.

My favourite place to dine, chill, relax and catch up with family and friends.

I am very impressed with this place. Very high standards. The quality of food, drinks, service, venue and location are just amazing. Visiting from Western Australia, this is now our go to meeting place.

You have to come early, and perhaps check their menu online. It gets very busy, the line up is quite long in the morning as they are so good and popular, people do wait and don't mind lining up. It is such a very popular place, so booking will be handy especially for big groups.

What an absolutely amazing experience dining here was. Food was on point, with fresh, high quality ingredients, and generous portions. The servers also make sure you are well taken care of.

When I go to this place I feel completely relaxed and happy. The setting is exquisite...plenty of shaded tables, gorgeous water views of the bay, people with their lovely doggies. People just seem to be enjoying every bit of life possible. The coffee is delicious as are the almond croissants. The juice is fresh squeezed. There is something for everyone. Enjoy!!

Had the pleasure of being served by the legend manager Nathan. The venue is goregous, pink umbrellas and white pristine outlay. Seabreeze is delicious and everyone has a smile on their face. Best little pitstop on our travels and couldn't recommend it more. Seems like the spot to be on a sunny day. Can't wait to come back.

We had lunch inside with some family here. All the food were delicious. The mocktail was so beautifully presented and also tasted devine. The service was friendly, consistent and welcoming. There was a gorgeously decorated christmas tree inside the dining area. A great venue and fantastic experience. Thank you!

Amazing! The food is so good, the staff is very nice, and the atmosphere can’t be beat. Highly recommend the green beans and the squid. Great cocktails as well.

Enjoyed a breezy Sunday lunch at the fish + chippery... Sat at the casual area with comfy shady bench areas and was perfect for some fish and chips, prawns and oysters! Ended the meal with an almond croissant from the patisserie, a refreshing smoothy and a gelato. Would love to try the restaurant the next time!

What a great place! My wife booked a surprise birthday lunch with family in the restaurant and the food was as good as you’ll find in any high end restaurant anywhere. Dave looked after us brilliantly and the views over the harbour were fantastic. After lunch we had booked a couple of “Boat Houses” and other friends and their kids joined us for drinks and more food outside. There’s something for everyone here and it’s a wonderful atmosphere matched by hospitality. Can’t wait to come back. The Moreton Bay Bug Sliders were a hit….

We had an awesome lunch here. Fish n chips was excellent with generous portion size. The chips were a bit salty, recommend getting the sauce to go with them. The atmosphere made it more enjoyable. The downside was the long waiting time during the peak time making a bit hard to find seating and parking.

Can’t fault any dishes, been a wonderful experience :) Especially the chef’s special - best rainbow trout we’ve ever had, cooked to perfection. Great service too, thank you.

Food is always so good every time we come down for dinner! Inside dining is great with a beautiful view of the water. Staff members are attentive and efficient.

Popular for good reason. Definitely on the expensive side of life, good food in return. The location is of course supreme. A bit of everything for everyone. Went for late breaky, small portions and really tasty. Coffee as good as you expect. Seems a popular spot for non working mums to talk about their kids. Restaurant looks amazing and again, expensive, but if the food is sensational, then worth the special occasion. Young team with great service. Free parking but can get busy to find a good spot. If you really rich you can charter the boat, rather cool. Keen to be back for dinner date!

Our family attended the Boathouse for our mother's 91st birthday. They made our lunch celebration extremely special by seating us at a beautiful table with fantastic water views of the harbour. The staff made Mum's experience special by all wishing her a happy birthday. As usual, the food was spectacular in a stylish environment. We hope to see you again same time next year! Thanks again.

I really enjoyed my experience at the Manly Boathouse. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the waterfront view was stunning. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience pleasant. The food was good, though not exceptional, but the overall ambiance and location made up for it. I would definitely recommend it for a casual, enjoyable meal by the water.

Had an unforgettable time at ManlyBoathouse! The short rib was divine, tender, and flavorful - a must-try. The kingfish ceviche was equally impressive, with its fresh and zesty taste. Excellent service and a cozy atmosphere made our visit truly enjoyable. Can't recommend it enough!
