If there really was such a thing as a magical bookshop, it would surely be here! So much charm, excellent service and a gorgeous reading space up the back. Highly recommended.

I have only ever had amazing experiences at this book store. The Harry Potter room is incredible and is definitely a must see. Not to mention the staff! I was served by a lovely girl named Isabelle who was really knowledgeable on her stuff! New exactly where each book would be. Best bookstore on the South side!!

Love love love this little book store. It’s such a hidden gem in Manly. It has such a warm feel to it. I love the Harry Potter room aswell. I recently went in for a book and I had no idea what I wanted. I got recommended a series which was exactly what I was after. And I smashed through the books in a few days. The staff are friendly and are knowledgeable. I will definitely be back.

The Mad Hatter's is, without a doubt, the best independent bookshop in South Brisbane. If you have children, you need to take them here. If you love books then you need to come here. Just come down and visit them and see for yourself. The staff are amazing, they have an excellent range of fiction, children's books, games, and beautiful classics. Harry Potter fans will find it especially worth the trip. Well priced and worth the experience. I would order from Mad Hatter's over Amazon any day of the week just to get the chance to keep walking into this wonderful store.

Such a sweet independent bookstore! The customer service is really helpful but not intrusive and the book selection is definitely great quality even for children and YA. Such a gem of a store!! I'll be back very soon ❤

A great range of titles and if they don't have it they'll order it in for you. The prices may not be as cheap as you could find online, of course, but the trade off is the personalised customer service and lovely little community hub. Oh, and don't miss the selection of board games in the back room!
