Everything about this place is fantastic.... Except one thing.
Vegetarian and vegan options.
I won't bag them too much as they make a mean bahn mi and it's great.
But when you order a vegetarian meal, they ask if you want chicken pate on it....
Um no, because that makes the meal not vegetarian.
That's it.
Great place, they have Leftfield coffee too, which is awesome.
Gotta support local WA roasters!

Great Tofu Bahn-mi and crispy Chicken Noodle salad. Dont forget the Vietnamesse Ice coffee.. thanks Hannah, definitely will go back for lunches

$10.50 for a banh mi (+$1.50 for roast pork), but very generous with the fillings! Some of the freshest crispy roast pork I've seen, the store is filled with the sound of the dude at the back chopping pork, and they're constantly rotating in fresh plates.
Definitely get the meatball skewer too, it's super tasty!! Tastes like nem nuong.

Line out the door at lunch time but the line moves fast, they have a very efficient assembly line with lots of staff. Very strong aircon pumping in store. The staff are super nice too! Conveniently located by the 7-11 :)

Fresh, delicious Bahn mi, and wonderful service. Dumplings and rice paper rolls were also great!

If you’ve never tried Bahn mi you have to give this place a go.

Super tasty Bahn Mi one the best in Perth without a doubt. Portions are generous, the prices are great and the staff are really friendly. Just an awesome little place. Do yourself a favour and wait in the queue to grabs one soon.

They have the best Banh Mi rolls (Vietnamese rolls) in Perth. The crispy pork roll is amazing. The bread roll is fresh and crunchy. The pork is tender and juicy, yet the pork crackling is super crunchy.
Do yourself a favour and try one of these. I always get one when I’m in the area.
Btw, I’m super fussy with quality of food. This is top notch.

Top food eatery. Honey soy chicken very nice and tasty, bread crispy on the outside soft inside with a hint of fresh chillis. Vietnamese coffee also good. Recommend both combo. 5/5

Crispy roast pork banh mi is sooo delicious!! The staff are so friendly. Every time I go to Perth I visit. When you go regular enough they remember your name!! Fabulous food and service. Thoroughly recommend.

Rolls are full of flavour, packed with meat and salad. Lovely customer service, they always have a smile on their faces and they never miss a beat.
Plenty of vegetarian and GF options, noodle bowls and healthy takeaway.
Fairly priced.
It’s my go-to if I can’t be bother going to Girrawheen (best Bahn mi there…)

Much to be happy about here. Baguettes have just the correct amount of crispness:softness ratio, the vegetables are fresh, pate is not overpowering and the Crispy pork has zero soggy skin. Pricing is far and all served with a smile. Thank you.

Decided to give this place a try, never been before but recommended to me. It did not disappoint. Went there around lunchtime and it was really busy, good sign. Had the crispy pork banh mi. Was awesome, fresh, easy to eat, plenty of pork crackling. Would recommend.

Best Banh Mi in Perth! Freshest ingredients and quality service. Always a quick process despite the lines

Having been told this was an amazing place for a Banh Mi, I went out of my way to track it down.

Got there just before lunch and there was a line up of customers (always a good sign). Everyone was processed quickly (+1 on the good signs) with minimal wait periods for orders being presented. That's great service!!

I asked the young lad behind the counter if the Banh Mi's were any good and everyone working there said they were the best in Australia (that's a big call, but another +1 for good signs with Staff who take pride in their work! Wow!!)

The lady who assembled my Banh Mi asked me where else I'd tried Banh Mi's from. I told her mostly from Canberra, but previously I'd had 2 in Perth and both were very under whelming. (Canberra's Banh Mi's are great by the way)

Anyway, the Banh Mi presented looked amazing, and tasted even better. Perfect combo of coriander, chili, fresh salads and crispy pork. An absolute joyous lunch!

If your after a top notch Banh Mi made with pride, Munch Box in Balcatta won't disappoint.
