Always the family favourite to go for fish and chips in Fremantle. Beautiful setting and good food. What more can you ask? The staff who served us last time were friendly and accommodating. We tried the fresh grill bar for the first time and had the chilli. 🌶 crab. The G&t on tap is not bad either. We will definitely come back 🍤🦀

Great food. Fried batter is amazing! Would go there everyday if I could. Spicy mussels are delicious. Whitebait was nice as well. Plenty of tables for seating.

Beautiful restaurant by the water. Hits the spot for that Fremantle seafood itch. The sharing platters are well designed and I already came back again. First time for fried platter, then a grilled platter with my gluten sensitive hubby 😄

I really enjoyed garlic prawns BBQ.
There are different counters here to order from which is odd if you want to order different thing. I had to go to all three of them. I consider the BBQ counter the best food, but I had to order the kids meal from the regular counter. Then, there is 3rd one for drinks. Food and drink where excellent. The place is nice to sit outside if the weather is mild. They have many staff who are working constantly and cheerful. We went there in busy time of Saturday night and had a great night. Don't forget to remove your plates after you're done to avoid a seagulls attack.

Ordered 2 family plates. The fish and fries were amazing. Everything was served fast and fresh. And tasted great. Highly recommended.

Not the best fish and chips but i would say they are recomended to try. I love the variant of the salt. And love their platters.
My advice avoid rush hour, its buzzing with people and hard to find your table especially if you come with a big group.

The fried mussels were the best and the clam chowder was really additive.. been here twice during our 5 day stay 😂

I had an amazing time at this restaurant! The fish and chips were a delight - the fish was fresh, and the portion of chips was generous. The picturesque view of the harbor added a perfect touch to the dining experience. I couldn't have asked for more - great food, fresh seafood, and a stunning view! A must-visit place for a memorable meal by the water.

Great location on the water with plenty of space indoors and outdoors. Beware of the seagulls outdoors though! Great layout with 2 seafood stations and one drinks bar so there are no queues. It's best to order food first and get your drinks while waiting for the page. If you're planning to have their Great chowder and super tasty Octopus, squid and sardines pickels, order the chowder first to have the rest of the super crunchy bread dish to have with the cold pickles. My only wish is that they told me how small the oyster roll was. It's the size of a slider, not your usual lobster roll.

The food at Kailis was exceptional, I got a mixed seafood platter and topped it off with an extra 1/2 rock lobster!

The plate was heaped with lobster, coleslaw, chips, cuttlefish, 2 prawns, salmon skewers (heads up the salmon can change as dependent on fish of the day). Couldn't ask for more tbh.

If I was being critical, the only gripes I could even have was the licensed bar service which was a little slow, I was waiting a good 5 minutes at an empty bar... and the prawns came out a few minutes after the main plate arrived... but these complaints are trivial compared to the quality provided.

a real gem for seafood lovers! We couldn't get enough of their awesome oysters , kept ordering them non-stop! The seafood platter is massive, loaded with all sorts of tasty sea treats. Fish and chips? A musttry! I'd say stick to indoor seating because we saw some poor souls outside getting their grub swarmed by seagulls. The view around the restaurant is pretty sweet, especially if you swing by for dinner after a Fremantle shopping spree

Grilled local seafood, delicious, chips spot on nice and crispy, coleslaw not sweet so complements the rest. So good. Great assortment of salts, vinegars etc to add. Next to the water and boats.

Nice. You can choose your fish of your shrimps. Very fresh and tasty.

Beautiful place and best seafood I have had in Australia! Fresh and yammi! Recommend chilli mussel, oyster and salmon sashimi.

Good food and large variety of seafood options. Loved the bbq seafood platter. Plenty of seating on the patio with views of the water.

BEAUTY IN A FISHY WAY, this I can honestly say!! WOW UPON WOW!! How this place has truly had an extreme makeover & to its FINEST!! To all who have ensured this to be….THANK YOU!! There is nothing like a clean, fresh & welcoming atmosphere!! EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!! I could say much more, however that will await until my next visit. To the staff, you’re doing a SPECTACULAR job with smiles in abundance. The food was A grade also & let I not forget the portion, I couldn’t even finish!! The fridge selection…GIDDY UP!! Not talking just about the drinks, I’m talking, the sides for the meals. What a variety.
Just to switch off enjoying a meal, watching the boats go by, hearing the sound of birds, water, distant music & the laughter that comes from being in a BEAUTIFUL environment…This is what I call “THE PLACE TO BE, TO LET THE MIND BE SET FREE”⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fish & chips and the seafood chowder was amazing. Opted for outdoor dining and it was cooling while the sun sets ☺ highly recommended!
