Great park and exceptional staff. Back gate access to a beautiful spot along the 4 Mile Beach, with swimming nets and lifeguards on post.
Will be returning that’s for sure.

The lovely owners of this park are the most beautiful people. Took our big car and boat in as no places in Dougles had the room for our big rig. They were so helpful and kind they let us use a site to leave both car and boat while we stayed next door. Don't be afford to drive the long way around guys it's a beautiful drive. If we were towing the van we would of stayed here hands down. The park is close to town and very clean with beautiful powered and unpowered spots. Cute pool and the long time campers staying even gave us tips on where to fish. 5 stars from us ✨

We booked here last minute for our spontaneous visit to Port Douglas - we couldn’t recommend enough. The staff are lovely, facilities are clean, lots of great little touches that make a difference. Also a 2 minute walk to four mile beach - such a great location. We loved it that much we extended another night!
Will definitely tell our friends / stay again in the future 😄

A great spot and lovely camp. A very quick 2 min walk to 4 mile beach it’s a perfect place to relax for a few days while exploring Port Douglas. Facilities were good and we felt safe and had good size space for unpowered site. They have a deal if you stay three nights!

It's a really great place to stay. Walking distance to the centre of town.

Have stayed in the units here for 15 + yrs , great value , friendly people within the park and very central , no need for a car , local bus , out the back gate and over the road to 4 mile Beach 👍

Clean amenities, kind staff and a comfortable campsite. The location is great! Only een minute away from the beach and a 5 minute walk to the Main Street.

Excellent park. Loved the proximity to the Main Street of port Douglas. Loads of grey nomads taking up much of the bookings at this time of year but we managed to squeeze in a few days. Caravan sites are squeezy and if you don’t mind your neighbours very close it’s the perfect park. 4 mile beach is just a street away all within walking distance. Tours can pick you up from the park too if you need. I loved this park. Everyone was so friendly and so eager to help or offer advice felt very safe. Amenities are clean. Highly recommend.

After a difficult time at Peppers Resort next door, we went to Tropic Breeze Caravan Park. In an emergency to seek accommodation. The proprietor was fantastic and welcomed us and made room for our camper on no notice. She was so helpful and a delight to deal with. The park is clean and amenities great. Highly recommend this park in Port Douglas to all.

Great place to stay for a few days away. Clean facilities, amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Very friendly atmosphere. Close to everything that Port Douglas has to offer.

Somewhat crowded and in parts, the toilets and showers, a little tired although spotlessly clean; a nonetheless excellent camping experience. The location is unsurpassed for a PD camp ground being a short walk to 4 mile beach and Macrossan street. In the morning we pop out the back gate towards the beach to ZanDers Beach Cafe for breakfast and coffee. Later, off to Hemingway's Brewery in the marina, which is dog friendly 😊 (the other bars on Macrossan are not)

Absolutely fantastic! All the staff here were so welcoming. Hands down the best, most affordable park in Port Douglas. One of the staff offered to exchange coins for the laundry after hours and was super friendly adjusting the check out time to suit. We will certainly be back here!

The Good, location is unbeatable for Port Douglas, friendly staff, clean amenities, semi outdoor camp kitchen, ample clothes line, established trees.
The Bad, sites are tight, amenities are showing their age, some backpackers talk loudly in camp kitchen area till late and we were unpowered just 10m away.

Great park situated close to beach and shops. Clean sites, a little tight but ok. The sites around the park fringe are the best for shade and space. Great staff in office and grounds. All amenities are cleaned daily. Back gate to the beach 2 minutes away. Dogs welcome, but contact first to confirm. Backpackers in abundance, but they are quiet and use a ground drying method for clothes as they can't afford pegs. Please note.. you are here for a holiday so get your face away from phone and enjoy the place.

Had a lovely stay with very clean facilities and friendly people. Big shout out to Moira and credit to the rest of the management staff. With flooding tents they were more than happy to put us up somewhere dry and make sure all our needs were met! The kindest staff. Highly recommend 🤗

We had an amazing 3 week stay here at Tropic Breeze in Port Douglas. We booked a powered site for our campervan which was shaded for most of the day. Park is only a short walk to patrolled 4 Mile Beach and a 10 minute walk to shopping precinct/restaurants/pubs. Hosts Ally and Tony have just taken over and are doing a great job. Very friendly. Office is well stocked with tourist info for those looking to get the most out of their stay in Port Douglas. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return

Great family park, close to the beach shops restaurants etc. very friendly staff in the office, Cathy and Moira , Roger does a great job cleaning up the grounds and keeping everything in great shape. We have been visiting this park for a few years and love being here.
