Great bush campsite. Large private site nestled in a peaceful bushland setting. Basic shower and laundry amenities, which adequately suit your needs. Loved our time there.

We've been to the Park several times. We've used the cabins which have some unique and rustic features with everything you need. When camping you get a site which is private, no being squeezed in with others.
Pets, children and adults all have a great time. It's a great place to stay. Well done.

Great place! Exactly what we wanted. This is not a fancy pants place, rustic and family friendly vibe!

Here is our family review:

2 year old "I LOVE the treehouse"
13 year old: "Really no reception? None?... let's go down to the creek" (we spent hours down there)
Baby 9 months was comfortable, he slept through the night. My wife has no complaints - wants to head back!

Big shout out to park management who were fantastic - a lovely couple with environmental values implemented into the park they manage (appreciated) and warm, welcoming, relaxed vibe! (Thanks guys! Not sure if you'll see this).

We also had access to a toy and DVD library during our stay (which was a life saver after a day of adventuring).

We will be back with our family and our family and friends in the future! We wanted to book for the school holidays coming but all booked out! And I can see why!

6 stars (one extra to management for being awesome).

We are a Family of 2 adults, 4 children and a dog 🙂

OWNERS - Very friendly and helpful and calm for such a busy park.Always had a welcome smile and happy to chat about the park and surrounds.

NON POWERED SITES - Large bush setting, private sites, plenty of room for our camper trailer, tent and 2 cars, very kid friendly. The park was full but we felt very private.

AMENITIES - clean shower, toilets and laundry. Camp kitchen was amazing, a few different spaces for everyone.

LOCATION - fantastic, we were doing the far north west (Stanley, Smithton, Marrawah and Arthur's River.) Able to do all in a day with enough time to swim in our return.

RIVER - WOW the river was fantastic for all kids, shallow parts for the smaller children and deeper bits for the confident swimmer, we also enjoyed snorkelling while there.

KIDS REVIEW - want to come back for the river and the park, they all agreed it was the favourite park of the trip, loved making lots of friends and not having to hang with us 🙂

Very pet friendly.

Amazing location and very welcoming service. Arrived late in the evening and got a an amazing spot just by the river mouth. Each sport is separated by nature so there's privacy.

Love this place. A perfect balance of traditional caravan park amenities and conveniences, and secluded bush camping.

Owners are lovely, friendly and willing to help out to ensure your stay is the best it can be.

Location is great for exploring the region, or just staying close to camp to enjoy the nearby beach, river and walks.

Well worth adding to your agenda. Give yourself several days to enjoy and appreciate what this gem of a spot has to offer.

We have stayed recently with our dog in a dog friendly cabin.
Carolyn was very friendly & the park is huge. The park is very rustic with older style cabins however supplied with everything you need. Thanks for a lovely stay.

If you want a clean and pristine camping experience, this isn’t the place. However read on because our stay was great!!!!

Owners are warm and friendly, couldn’t do more to make sure we had the best camp sites for the family. The property is high is you can easily clocked up your 10k steps walking around and exploring, as there are no restrictions.

Camp sites are huge and I mean massive, which was nice. Giving you plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the sound of nothing. Plenty of bush between you and a neighbor.

Amenities: need an upgrade but heck it’s a hot shower and a toilet to use, so if you aren’t a frightened by a cracked tile, then it won’t bug you.

Campers kitchen was in desperate need of a clean, but hey again, it’s a place to cook and sit if you want a fire on a cold night. It had a certain ‘charm’.

All and all, great stay, we enjoyed ourself greatly.

What a stunning place to camp for the night (or more) - we instantly booked another night upon arrival as it was so beautiful. Well protected from wind also. We will be back

Quirky little caravan park with great water access for young kids. Old playground but was enough to entertain the kids. We based ourselves here for a couple of nights to tour the area and really enjoyed it. Sites are private, we felt like we were more "in the bush" than a caravan park. Which was nice after staying in some parks where you were literally next to your neighbours. Would go back here again. Owners were lovely. Can hire fire pits too.

A wonderful place. My son and I were invited last minute by friends. We had a powered site for our tent, we were kindly loaned an extension lead after discovering kmart was closed on the drive over. We had enough mobile reception to be able to enjoy music.

The park had some items like a small shop for those needing cooking oil and so on. Across from reception was a small charming bridge that crossed the creek to our campsite, which was situated right next to the river mouth where my son got to see and pat several dogs, it was really nice to see a dog friendly place.

Friends hired a fire pot that was available at the park. The river mouth was a great spot for wading, swimming or anyone wanting to launch a kayak as many around us did.

The park had communal showers, toilets, a camp kitchen I believe but we did not use it. It has been landscaped and planted out with lots of gums, rattles, tea tree, giant flax, poas, and different varieties of grevilleas that provide ample shade from the sun and windreaks. The place is beautifully landscaped and a natural delight around the foreshore. My son even found wild samphire at the beach to snack on.

We plan on coming back again next Easter. Affordable and truly enjoyable. Thank you for providing such a lovely place for the community.

If going here you need coins for the shower. Nice bush setting, secluded little spots. Can hire a fire pit if you don't have your own. Lovely place on the river

Crayfish Fish Creek cabin park is a rustic bush setting adjacent to a stunning tidal creek and sandy beach. Huge grassy sites visited by pademelons in the evening and birds during the day. The toilet and shower block is dated but functions well. The Camp Kitchen is HUGE and would be very comfortable in cold, wet windy weather. The place is close to Stanley with the famous Nut and Highfield House and Boat Harbour with its beautiful sandy beach. Dip Falls and the Big Tree are located a short drive away and the Blue Hills Honey Farm serves excellent coffee and cakes for morning tea! The cabin park is quiet, protected from road noise and coastal winds and we will definitely be back when visiting the North again.

One of the best parks in Tassie! Fantastic bush setting where you don't feel like you're camping on top of other people. Amenities where very clean.

The river next to the park is also great especially for kids, at low tide you can walk the sand flats and play in the shallows, at high tide there is a man-made paddling area right at the park.

Hosts where fantastic, even after I booked the wrong weekend by accident 🤦🏻‍♂

We've been to alot of caravan parks in Tassie and this is top of the list for us.

Stayed 3 nights in our caravan this trip. Creek5 is a ripper spot 👌

We had a great time here for our player’s trip. Beautiful bush site with perfect amenities for our group. Close enough to the Rocky Cape Tavern and the Stanley Golf Course for us to have a ripping time.

Had the best stay, owner is super nice and lovely, we were out of rice and asked if she had some we could buy and she gave us some rice from her own pantry free of charge. Very welcoming and charming.
