A place worth visiting, see if you can soak in 400 years of history by staying calm in the tree’s presence.

It's just one big tree. Easy detour from Dip Falls. You won't spend much time here, as it's really just one tree worth looking at. But it would be silly to miss it if you do go to Dip Falls. There is a gravel road to get here, but it is good enough for a 2WD to get through without issues.

A few minutes drive from Dip Falls, Big Tree is a tree ...that is big. So big that you can walk around it without seeing people on the other side. Worth a look if you're at the nearby Dip Falls, as it's a few minutes drive down the road.

So worth the two minute walk. It’s quite impressive. Lots of other big trees nearby too.

Any tree that gets recognition on a Tasmanian map is worth a look! Massive around the base and 60 m tall 😍 got pictures for my tree museum

Near the Dip Falls in this gigantic old forrest tree surrounded by other smaller giants and ferns - its a peaceful and magical place to visit and just sit quietly and be with nature.

Worth a visit, sure has a big girth. Just under a 5min drive from Dip Falls and a very short easy walk from the road. Could do with some updated and clearer signage.

A great extension to the visit to Dip Falls. Really cool old tree, nestled amongst young forest, in a region of primarily dairy agriculture and logging

Licated approximately 1km up the road from the Dip falls viewing platform.
Good place to view the big tree and some nice rainforest, easy enough walk in, not far from the road, viewed two trees at various angles. Saw quite a big of lovely fungi. Not sure how much long the big tree will be there large whole in the centre that seems to get bigger each time I visit :(
