United Petroleum Latrobe

I am Aiste from Sassafras, Tasmania. I wanna share my today's experiences with you.
Today was really bad weather due to Storm and heavy rain. I was went in supermarket in latrobe and rain was started and i was stand (at united) under the shed.After some time the girl came out and ask why i am standing there and i told due to someone came to pick me up That girl was really really polite with me and she said to come in , she offering me chair and some sort of things as well. I was there for nearly 20 to 25 min. so, what I observe is that one old lady came for fuel and I think she can not come out ,so that girl went out, put fuel in her car and took money and she was asked for anything else she was like to buy. At that time I thought Latrobe United fuel station was self service but still she was helping old people .I never saw this kind of help in united stations in Tasmania.
I never saw this kind of helpful guy in my life in a United petrol station. so, I really appreciate that girl. she was so kind,polite and helpful. I think These all words are less for that admire girl .
I am really suggesting a united company for these kinds of employees.

Found the girl behind the counter to be courteous , Convenient and Friendly , shop is clean and tidy. always ready to assist making sure you remember your receipt. she is attentive to driveway watering cans and windscreen wash buckets. . Not so for male counterpart who was quite rude in his response to a question

Quick and easy pit stop. Not much space on the corner.

My husband and 15yr old daughter both terrible experiences here. The lady that works there is extreamly rude and arrogant.
First my husband purhased fuel and some shop items went to the counter to pay, he tapped his card and away he went not taking notice of the amount charged. Went in a couple of days later and she accused him of getting fuel and driving off without paying, she carried on at him about how they had it on camera and she had to pay the amount out of her own pocket, instead of admitting she had made a mistake.
Second My daughter went in to purchase a drink she thought the sign said 2 poweraid for $5, she went to the counter the lady scanned them and said $10, my daughter replied saying she thought they were 2 for $5 and the lady rudely said "can you even read" . My daughter shocked went back to the fridge to get another drink that was 2 for $5, the lady lied to her saying she couldn't remove the already scanned items from the screen so she would have to pay the $10 or she was going to have to pay the other $5 out of her own pocket. My daughter ended up getting the 2 for $5 but I'm absolutely horrified at how she was treated. We won't be going back again!

Quite often closed with a note on the door reading "back in ten minutes". Have encountered this twice in two weeks. Also overcharged me by nearly $5 on a fuel and grocery purchase and told me they couldn't give me the overcharged amount back but instead said I could purchase additional items to the overcharged amount. I stood my ground and eventually received my money back but not without an argument. Ask for a receipt and check what you're being charged for.

Super rude lady behind the counter. We filled up a tank of fuel here as we wanted some cash out to clean our Van access the road. She refused to give cash out, directed me to the ATM (fair enough) but her attitude was horrible. She then refused to accept a $50 note (which we got from their ATM which had a fee) to pay for something as they "didn't have change for that". Again super rude and horrible about it.

BEWARE, ON PETROLSPY THEY SHOW THEIR UNLEADED FUEL PRICE AS $206.9. AT THEIR PUMP THE REAL PRICE IS $217.90. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, TO AN HONEST OPERATOR.

Worst and rudest customer service, staff made me try and scan my own discount docket and when it wouldn’t work told me it was “too bad” and wouldn’t manually enter for me.

Unfriendly and expensive.
