Lucinda B&B

Our stay at Luncinda B&B was short but Fiona left such a wonderful impression - she is clearly someone just made to be a hostess at a B&B! I booked this accommodation because of the wonderful reviews and they were spot on.
We stayed in the deluxe spa room and we were travelling as a group of three. Two adults and one six year old. I was worried about booking a room in such a grand old property with a young child but Fiona was so beautifully patient and engaged with my son. This is not a property for a minimalist - there is so much amazing detail and care to show the property in its historic glory. The beds were very comfortable and the spa was a real treat!
I can't comment on the breakfast that's included in the price as we woke later than planned and had to get on the road. The grounds are very pretty and the location is close to lots of attractions but you feel a million miles away in the best of ways when you are one the property.

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights prior to going back to the mainland. Accommodation couldn't be faulted, breakfast amazing, lovely garden to wander in complete with kangaroos and bird life. Fiona is an amazing host and made us feel comfortable and we had some great laughs. We'll be back!

My fiance and I stayed here in our final night of our holiday prior to sailing back to Melbourne. It was a lovely experience, as it is a beautiful, well-tendered mansion and Fiona is a lovely, welcoming host. Highly recommend.

Fiona is a delightful host. Property showcases earlier Tasmanian architecture, rich in history.
Comfortable, homely and clean.
The breakfast was a treat.

This B and B was clean and welcoming. The house had many beautiful features including elaborate ceiling roses and decorative cornices. The high ceilings lent an air of splendour to this Georgian style building. Our hostess had a very cheerful and friendly manner, and cooked a delicious breakfast for us.
Latrobe itself is a beautiful historic town in easy traveling distance to Devonport, Ulverstone, Port Sorell, and Anvers Chocolate Factory.

Lovely building and outlook. Attentive staff. Comfy bed and large room and bathroom. Short stroll to local pub and shops. Have stayed twice and will again.

OMG, talk about straight out of Downton Abbey! Gorgeous old Victorian era house, fabulous ceiling roses and antiques, very comfy room, lovely ensuite, welcoming hostess and a great breakfast! Next time we're "up norf", we'll stay again.

I stayed in the room with the two similar photos and got to sticky beak in another bedroom while the door was open - wow.
I recommend this bed and breakfast as it's up a quiet hill and the host is lovely.
For breakfast she'll cook up for you eggs/bacon/tomato on toast and serve you coffee or tea and you'll have access to make more toast with various spreads, select from various cereals and flavoured yoghurt and orange juice.
In our room there were various teas, instant cappuccino sachets, plunger coffee and biscuits. I saw the same provided in the communal lounge room. She provided quality shampoo and conditioner in our large bathroom that had separate shower and bath tub.
There is a bar area downstairs next to reception/dining area with a microwave that we used during our stay.

Fiona goes the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your stay. The beds are really comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Photos and furnishings allow you to step back in time.

Lincida is very exceptional (perfect person for the job),room was spotless. Breakfast menu is fantastic. very highly recommend this accommodation.

Amazing Victorian residence, with perfectly comfortable rooms in a beautiful house, with great breakfast. We booked 3 rooms, each with double bed and one extra bed. All the rooms have a lovely ensuite bathroom.
One of the best accommodation options we stayed in around Devonport area.
The residence is easy walk to city centre with plenty of dining options.
Fiona is an amazing host and made our stay lovely.
