Casbak Alpine Units & Blackwood Lodge

Really really great place for large groups with kids. The swimming pool and the surrounding gardens and play areas are absolutely fantastic. The accommodation feels like 1970s ski lodges meaning they hold a lot of people and are extremely comfortable but they are a little bit dated. My family think that that is part of the charm. Owners Ed and Neene are laid back and friendly.

Amazing accommodation. My sons absolutely loved the playground trampolines and pool outside our door. Accomadation itself was funky and clean, layout was great. Good work, we will be coming back in Jan and staying here

Great place to stay. Ed is so friendly. Ive stayed alot in different places but he come approached me and introduced him self. The property is very well mainted and clean even the bbq area is clean. You have gas or wood bbq. Ed gave us a good room so we can park the trailer as we towed the bikes there.

Casbak cabins are a great little place to stay for a few days whilst out hiking the high country.
Always clean and tidy. Ed and Neene are friendly and welcoming. We’ve used them regularly and will always be back.
Close by for an easy walk to the Snowline Pub after a hard day hiking Razorback.

Me and my family head here every year over the queens birthday weekend and we love it to bits! Sitting on the banks of the ovens river it really makes you feel like you're in the Victorian high country! Nice little town with a whole lot of history with the mount hotham ski fields very close.

My family and I spent a week at Casbak over the summer. Its an great spot to spend your holidays. The town is lovely, the host were amazing, and its a really family orientated accommodation. We will certainly be back!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, walking distance to shop and two delightful pubs, and wonderful owners. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing base from which the region can be explored.

Beautiful spot, exceptionally helpful owners. Units on the old side but very clean .... bed was super comfortable.

Very descent place to stay.. we booked 3 units all of them were very clean and well equipped. Highly recommended.

Amazing units with vintage feel and lovely place between woods. Units are very well maintained and the couple who own the units are very friendly. I loved the place.

Place is wonderful and has a very good atmosphere. Place is really goid if you have kids. Staff are extremely accomodating and professional as well.

Currently staying in one of the units, we absolutely love it here and are planning to spend our holiday her next year and for our honeymoon in 2020 😍😍😍
