Bicentennial Park, With Playground, BBQ's, Beach And Boat Ramp

What a brilliant place! A lake, beach, park, skate park, BBQ AND airport!!

Mount Beauty certainly lives up to its name.

If you are after a getaway, put this town on your list. If you like kayaking, or gentle water sports, playing with the pooch, or the kids want to drop in at a world class skate park with bowl then this is the place.

Lots of car parking, relatively wheelchair friendly (beach and skate bowl are obviously not) with an easy access toilet.

No shop nearby, so byo lunch... or better still, use the BBQ and let the kids loose on the playground

Had a picnic lunch along the lake. Beautiful scenery and lovely park area. Clean restrooms. Great spot.

My 8 year old daughter LOVED this park! So much to do for all ages. great location with tables and chairs, BBQ and toilets. Great area to walk our dog around too. Winner for everyone.

Whether you're a local, staying nearby or simply passing through the Bicentennial Park is a wonderful place (for adults and children alike) to pass the time of day.

In terms of playground equipment it's better equipped than most. There are several slides and swings along with ample things to climb, bounce and swing on.

There are BBQs and undercover tables if you'd like to enjoy a picnic here. Considering the utterly stunning and picturesque view you'd be hard pressed to find a better place to do so.

It's also a great spot to stretch your legs - the circular pondage track is an easy 3km loop that features spectacular views. It can be enjoyed by bike or on foot.

The park also features public toilets and ample parking.

Each visit we found children (and families) playing happily. Who can blame them? There's a lot on offer here to enjoy.

Beautiful playground with things for all various ages. Large open spaces. Skate parks around too. Toilets nearby. Bbq are available for use. Even some shelters too. Beautiful scenery nearby for parents to get some serenity.

Wonderful playground. It is really original with the drop in the water slide. There are slings and also made shadows some places at the ground. Also space for BBQ and some public toilets. Maybe the playground with the nicest view so far in Australia that we’ve visited.

Wonderful Mount Beauty lake foreshore park. Grassed beach, swimming, ample parking, boat ramp, free BBQ facilities, childrens modern playground and seating. Drinking fountain, water refill and nearbyToilets. Area cleaned daily and open 24 hours, each day. (Note; early afternoon on last day of school so only a few visitors at the park)

Stunning scenery. The Park & Mt Beauty Pondage are well worth visiting. Great for picnics or just sitting on the grass enjoying your surroundings.

There's plenty to keep the kids occupied. Ball courts, skate park, huge playground and on a breathtaking backdrop of lake and mountains. Can't get any better than this until you realise there's clean public toilets, places to picnic and undercover tables and seats. Drinking fountains for people and their four -legged friends. Can have a nice BBQ or picnic right by the lakeside and still supervise the kids. You can hear frogs and birds nearby too.

Beautiful place, with a lovely walking track around the lake. Great facilities.

Apart from the BBQ that aren't clean the park is a great place to meet up with family and friends.

What a beautiful pond .. the views are excellent .. 40 minute wqlk arounf the pond is a must do ..

Magnificent location. Very clean and well maintained. Kids did not want to leave the playground. There are benches around the lake and a restroom as well.

An exquisite spot for a BBQ by the water with views of the mountains in the background and parachutes landing nearby. BBQ cooks at the perfect temperature and toilets are clean as a whistle. 10/10 one of the best bicentennial parks in the nation. Hats off to the local council for a well maintained facility!
