Excellent accommodation choice at Falls Creek. Jake and the team at Elk were friendly, welcoming and organised and made our stay a smooth and pleasurable one. The included transfer service took the hassle out of getting from the Transfer Terminal to the accommodation with our luggage. Definitely will be back when are next at Falls!

The room is very cozy, and supplies three big hot spa tub for relaxing after you ski. Hotel is near the main chair lift. Jake is really nice and hospitality.

I've been travelling to Falls Creek for many years now and have stayed in many of the available apartments and lodges. Having found Elk, i feel the search for our home away from home at Falls Creek is finally over. The Apartments at Elk are modern, clean and comfortable. Facilities are excellent. The staff are friendly but unobtrusive. The location is perfect. Bob Sugar, the restaurant located on the ground floor is great for breakfast, lunch or dinner followed by a trip to the cosy bar. To cap it all off, Owner Leanne has been great to show us around and introduce us to Elk and Manager Jake - well you could not get a better host. We stayed a couple of times during '22 season and can't wait to return in '23.

Such a beautiful accommodation I stayed here for 3 day with my family it’s really close to everything. The bars and restaurants down stairs are so good and the cocktails are amazing and the staff are so friendly

Whole experience from start to finish was amazing. Leanne really helped us last year when we had to reschedule. I was super grateful that they managed the pandemic situation really well. They also emailed me with updates regularly and even gave a detailed list of what we need to organise at the slopes and what they offer, ext. The service we got from Jake was incredible, especially since he was by himself (Two staff away due to covid) This guy was flat chat the whole time we were there, but never ever skipped a beat, he touched base during our 4 days. His organisation was just incredible. We were really impressed. He also did all of this with incredible customer service, he was really genuine and nice. I very highly recommend staying here if you plan a trip to Falls Creek. The hotel room was super comfy, they had chrome cast, heated wardrobe for clothes and it was warm. They have the spa, a bar lounge and Bob Sugar Restaurant, everything you need in one spot. And only a short walk from the chair lift. Cannot thank everyone enough for making out stay super comfortable and enjoyable. Cant wait to come back.

We had the chance to stay in both the twin room and the sub-penthouse during our stay. Both were great value with impressive amenity and a lush modern fitout. The views from the sub-penthouse were stunning!

Location was perfect, just a few hundred metres (downhill!!) and you’re at the bottom of Hailey’s Comet ready to jet off. It seemed that every restaurant we tried was only a couple minutes walk away also, which was super handy.

Inside there is the bar and restaurant, both of which are top class and delivered amazing food and drinks time after time. No need to leave once you’ve had a big day out.

Jake was great - accomodating and very helpful. Booking process was practical and simple.

The 40° spa after big days on the mountain really topped it off. Now a must-do in the recovery routine.

Would recommend to all and hope to be returning for another stay ASAP.

It's definitely the best place to stay in Falls Creek. We arrived just before the government announced state wide lockdown, but Leanne was really friendly and helpful at pickup even there were quite a lot to take as a business in this hard time. The communication from Richelle from the time of booking to the end of the trip was really clear. Jake was being absolutely great at drop off in our last day. Even though the lifts were closed and the restaurant was closed during our stay, but the luxury and comfortable accommodation, the heavy snow fall for 3 days plus the wonderful foods from Bob Sugars are definitely made our trip even more memorable than a regular winter ski holiday!!! I would highly recommend Elk for anyone planning a trip to Falls Creek and we can't wait for our next stay with Elk!!!

Great location ski in ski out. Helpful service carrying bags on the snowmobile. Very good to have drying cupboards for all your wet snow gear to dry overnight.

Absolutely the best place to stay at Falls! Perfect location, fantastic amenities including loads of storage, spa for aching muscles and newly renovated apartments. Leanne and the team are awesome and the restaurant and bar downstairs perfect with a cozy fire for apres ski. So close to everything that you can come and go as you please. Will be back!!

We recently had the pleasure and privilege of attending the Elk alpine retreat. With the stunning backdrop of Falls Creek, our group enjoyed expertly guided hiking adventures, E-bike tours, Pilates sessions and invigorating yoga classes. The days were interspersed with nourishing, healthy and hearty meals. The accommodation at Elk and the bar are both delightful and welcoming, and the extremely talented duo of Leanne and Jake are to be highly commended for their fabulous hospitality. I could not recommend Elk at Falls highly enough!

Elk was great. We had lunch here twice during our 2-night snow trip and the food was consistently delicious. They had $22.50 daily specials which were great value for money, and the staff was very lovely. 10/10 would recommend and I will definitely be back the next time I'm at Falls Creek.

I highly recommend the beautiful apartments and all the facilities of Elk. Leanne and staff (particularly Jake) are so accommodating and nothing is a problem. Wonderful views, absolutely prime location, ski-in-ski-out, and a great breakfast, too!

Excellent location, quality accomodation, and most importantly - EXCEPTIONAL customer service. The free transform from ATS is certainly a game changer. We have been skiing at Falls for years and Elk was the best stay we've ever had. Will definitely come back.

Elk is easily the best dining experience on the mountain. The friendly staff and delicious food make for a great time. Free fire roasted marshmallows an an excellent addition and I could not recommend this establishment more. Say hi to Barry for me.

We had the steak and it was tender and cooked perfectly. Great steak but could have more veggies. The lamb shank was generous and fell off the bone. The desserts were delicious. The chocolate dessert was a hit and I had the rhubarb freddo which was amazing

Stayed with a bunch of friends in one of the apartments. So clean, tidy and organised. Very comfortable beds, it has everything you need. Also the restaurant downstairs is awesome. Steak was incredibly good. Just make sure to make reservations because it's always very busy.

Elk is piece of European paradise just a hop, skip and jump from Melbourne. Do yourself a favour and forget about Buller. Elk is incredible.

Incredible to find such quality restaurant up in the snow. The food was amazing , great service by the friendly wait staff, nice cozy atmosphere, there really is nothing to fault. Will definitely be going back again next trip.

Stayed at Elk over the weekend in the newly built penthouse apartment and my mates were on the level below.
Top notch spot. The manger was very friendly, approachable and helpful with any of our needs.
The views from the balcony were sublime especially whilst having breakfast from the table.
All the necessities were included and all appliances worked well.
The only down side is that the bed rooms are short of space for clothing and luggage. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze around the bed units.
Would book again for a nice weekend away with a group of people.
