Amazing campsite especially if it's sunny, lots of fire pits, toilets on site and free! Toorongo falls is a short walk from the site and you can cool off in the river next to the site. You can easily park next to wherever you camp too! Definitely recommend going here!

My partner, our dog & I loved Toorongo Falls Campground. It was very lovely to walk around the river. It's a very beautiful place to relax, to see & unwind in nature. Sleeping at night time was perfect. You can hear the river as you're trying to sleep. It was the best sound to hear at night time. We would definitely camp here again! 🏕

This is a stunning campground which is beautifully maintained. We were here quite a few years ago and the work that has been done to upgrade the facility is astounding.
This is a family friendly and dog friendly campground. 🥰

Awesome campground with drop toilets. Campground 2 more suited to caravans. Fire pits for use and river walks. Toorongo Falls nearby were stunning.

Couple hours drive from CBD. Magnificent water fall! With picnic tables and parking at the bottom of the mountain. Easy to medium level hiking challenge. Amazing place to hike with ting kids and families friends! There is waterfalls along the path, great experience. Two waterfall in two spots , maximum 2 hours return. Highly recommended.👍

We camped one night here and it was amazing. Tooronga river falls from the Tooronga waterfall and this makes the campground more scenic.
Toorongo falls and Amphitheatre falls walk is just about 800m away from the campground. The full trail takes around 30-45 mins.
The place has inbuilt barbecue places for each camping tent. It is better if you can bring your own firewood because sometimes it is difficult to find wood from around.
The public drop toilets were relatively clean considering how busy it was.
A must visit place if you love camping.

A gorgeous part of Australia. My favourite things about this camp ground is it's dog-friendly, free camping and no phone or internet reception. Going to sleep under the stars to the sound of the river and the stunning surrounding bushland & waterfalls. Hikes are easy, the round trip to Toorongo & Ampitheatre Waterfalls took around 2 hours with 5 kids aged 8 -2 years and 7 adults & a few stops along the way. This is a must visit park, especially for campers, if you're in Victoria.

Spent 4 days at campground from the 7th- 10th March 2023. Had an amazing time. Left on Friday 10th March 2023 before the long wknd rush filled entire campground. Did full walk around both waterfalls, easy. Toilets are good, firepits are great. I suggest bringing your own firewood to save you the hassle of going to find it.

Awesome little pit stop. Easy walk to the waterfall. We drove to the carpark for a shorter walk to the waterfall with a 4yo and baby. Used our baby carrier. Beautiful creek flowing through the site. Very peaceful. Not too many people there but apparently it does get busy. Maintenance people came through so obviously looked after. Toilets were not fun to use but not the worst drop toilets...still. mozzies bit my butt. Lol no water or dump point for caravan. We fit our 8.5m van easy (again, not busy)

Bigger area than campground 2. Really well maintained by VicParks. New drop toilets were relatively clean considering how busy it was. Saturday night was only a few spots free, can be hard to find a level tent site if this is the case. Sunday night was practically empty with only a handful of dampers present. Lots of people over the weekend trying their hand at catching some trout in the little creek running alongside but didn't see anyone successful.

Definitely go for a stroll up to the waterfalls, well worth the short climb up. And don't forget to bring firewood if fires are allowed, you'll struggle to find anything left around to use. Noojee Bushgoods is a short drive for your firewood and fishing needs. Always good to support the colourful locals when you can!

Beautiful and very serene in the warmer months, but be prepared to be packed in with crowds at main holiday periods. Winter is very cold and still, ideal for walking. Due to re-open on 2nd January 2020, after what must have been a year (or more!) of extensive landscaping, rehabilitation and site resting. Just a short walk along the road to bewitchingly beautiful Toorongo River and Falls. NB: in the warmer months, Tiger snakes occupy the grassy and rocky areas adjacent to the river.

Nice open area with lots of places to camp. Allowing for a decent amount of room between you and other campers. No separate car park, so you don't have to carry all of your camping gear to where you want to set up camp. Beautiful creek That runs down one side of the camp ground.

An awesome place to camp.
Has barbecue places where a family or just a group of friends can camp and enjoy. Has a small hike of 2.1 km along the waterfalls .. it’s a trail which runs through the water falls .. steep hike though for few meters..if you have babies and want to take a pram for the hike, it’s a strict no no. Instead carry a baby carrier.

This is a beautiful spot. I'd assume a lot of people would know about this site because of that reason, so try and get in early! Also, come prepared for rain, as it in the mountainous rainforest area of Vic. The falls and rivers are amazing

Definitely didn't disappoint, track was a bit muddy and slippery after the rain but beautiful scenery worth the wall. Will be coming back for sure 😊
