Such a great place to relax.
Travel to Noojee, a town named after the Aboriginal term for contentment or a place to rest.

As people have mentioned. Don't go to the Google ping. Go to Toorongo Valley Reserve which is on Toorongo Valley Road.
Great little hike up to both waterfalls. Walk down is nice an easy. My partner who has only been walking for 3 months after breaking her leg managed no problems in the rain.
The falls and a trip down to Noojee pub makes a great day out!

What a great place with two stunning waterfalls on a great loop track! Although it is muddy at the moment the amount of water coming down the falls & river make it worth it!
Warning: do not follow the map, it takes you up a winding dirt track that ends in a dead end! Make sure you are on Toorongo Valley Rd. We were lucky and found a local at the end of the track who kindly redirected us!

Came back 4 months later (24/1/2020) because we liked it so much! Places is as good as we remembered, there is HEAPS of water coming down both falls, however the track is much less muddy, which is an added bonus! Yet another brilliant visit.

This place is about 2 hours drive from Melbourne. The walking loop took about 1 hour to do. Beautiful place but not sure if it's worth the 4 hours drive. There is no reception around this area. So plan your trip beforehand.

It was an amazing place to visit. Toilet and picnic table facilities. Walk in is steep and lots of steps heading to toorongo falls but the view is spectacular. Best timed during rain or just after a few days of heavy rain. Go on to amphitheatre waterfall as well it's easier than getting to toorongo but both are worth doing. I would rate it medium. Time taken 1.5hrs return.

An easy walk uphill, with several steps to help you through the steeper parts. Climaxes in a front row seat at a fabulous falls. Best road access is from Toorongo Valley Road rather than Falls Track (The latter has several signs up saying no access to the falls, but seems to be the go-to selection when you ask Google for directions)

An amasing place and must visit place, great waterfalls and also a great jungle track. Carry some water. Try visiting during hot weather to enjoy the waterfalls and to dip your feet in cold water.

Beautiful waterfalls, along the way you can get s close as you want to running water. Wheelchair access up to the bridge. Except for that easy walk all the way to the viewing platform and back.

This is a great walk, even in the cold and wet the walk is always scenic with lush ferns and trees and both waterfalls are worth a pause.
Easy access and parking and a comfortable 45mins

Great place. Very close to Melbourne. One of the best water falls in Victoria. Full circle is about a 2.2 km walk. There are two viewing platforms.

Really nice waterfall. Just remember not to follow google for directions . :-) . Also be very careful of snakes. We had an encounter with one.

These are some beautiful waterfalls in the mountainous rain forest areas an hour or two outside of Melbourne. The drive to the falls can be very curvy. After you arrive, it's worth the drive.

Nice waterfalls. Need a bit of effort to reach there but the waterfalls are worth the walk. Perfect location for recreation with family and friends.

Stunning Falls - but maps has incorrect directions
I attempted to navigate to the falls by navigating to the Toorongo Falls Walk on Google Maps or via the place marker for the falls. It directed me to turn left instead of right when coming into Noojee and sent me up a dirt road used by logging trucks. You cannot get to the falls from here and it will take you on an hour trip through some very isolated roads with no phone reception.
Make sure you turn right towards Mount Baw Baw and drive past the Noojee pub to ensure you are on the right track.
Once you get there the falls are absolutely stunning, the entire river up to the falls had plenty of water and some mini falls along the way, it is well worth doing the full circuit loop to both of the hikes and taking some time to enjoy the beauty of the area

Amazing waterfall, well worth making the effort to go all the way to the top. Not hard for young kids to get to the lookout but it was a little bit slippery in the wet so wear good shoes

A short well maintained track. The short loop picks up two waterfalls. A great spot to get out into nature.

A very easy walk (45 minute loop), 2 great waterfalls combined with a beautiful fern forest walk. Definitely worth the quick drive from Noojee!
