An absolute must do if you are in this area.
We spent a couple of days exploring the local sites & this was our favourite.
Recommend going down into the valley via the Rainforest Loop Track & coming up the other side via Rainforest Gully.
The Rainforest loop track is steep in places with steps at the bottom, we came up them & it was brutal.
The walk through the gully is beautifully unspoilt. The best bit is.... it's dog friendly-watch out for snakes though!

Wonderful walk! Rainforest Gully walk is super easy. Gently sloping path as the sign says.
Rainforest Loop Track is nowhere near as bad as the sign says! Don't let it put you off. There are steps and a couple of steeper sections. But it's pretty easy to traverse for anyone fit enough to do a walk with steps. They are a little run down so would recommend doing it on the way back so you're climbing up them not going down which could be a little more slippery. Great point when you can see over the top of all the tree fern canopies. Stunning.
So peaceful in there and nice information on the different sections and things to see.
Highly recommend. Imagine it would be nice on a hot day as it's so cool in there.

A short and relatively easy walk through the rainforest. The slope is quite steep down and can be quite slippery when wet. Dogs are allowed on leash which was great, and there's a few bridges and ramps on the circular walk. Some really lovely sights once you're in the depths of the forest area.

What an awesome stroll through nature, the looped trail to the left is easier than to the right a lot of stairs.

Super pretty. We bumped into a few spider webs but nothing show stopping. The smells, the sound, and the ease of access is unbeatable.

Lovely little pocket of remnant rainforest, with mountain ash and tree ferns. A moderately steep walk in parts down to the bottom of the creek, even on the “gentle” route, but a very pretty walk, even if not too long.

Great place to be at, especially on hot days. Steep ramp on one side, and steps on the other side. Great fun with a bit older kids. Would be a bit challenging with younger kids / prams.

Great view, very steep in parts and lots of steps and quite narrow in parts. Not pusher/pram accessible nor wheelchair. I would sugest skipping this one if you have hip problems too. Otherwise well worth the walk

.A stunning pocket of virgin rainforest. Walk the canopy of giants. Feel what it is to be small and insignificant
