Had relaxing and enjoyable time, especially with young kids. Suggesting to avoid autumn evenings unless you won't mind mozzies.. sufficient parking. Overall good drive and memorable experience

A well preserved and maintained historical site depicting the town from initial days till today. Very good for family visits with curious kids who enjoy history and trains in particular. Highly recommended to visit on holidays to see the inside.

An easy way to entertain young children for an afternoon. It's pretty dated with old footage showing on their tvs but my kids loved being able to put on an old jacket and hat to pretend they were catching the train. Nice friendly lady there too..

Lots and lots of plans in the pipeline for this special place. Welcomed by Will and invited into the locomotive to load some wood on the fire to keep it smoking. Small heritage museum, lots of old tools and photos on display. Will be back to explore the area in more detail.

A great spot to stop off on the way to Mt Baw Baw. A well-preserved J class Steam Loco sits at the old station platform with some freight wagons further down. Great artefacts in the rebuilt station building and friendly staff. Lots of local history surrounding the logging industry and there's a rail trail going to the legendary Noojee Trestle Bridge

Lovely place full of history, ran by volunteers. Free entry, consider leaving a small donation for the restoration of the train. Help the local volunteer with a task or too if you have few minutes.

Great space, a museum of sorts with so much memorabilia and historical information on the towns history. Run by volunteers and promoting Noojee, one of Victorias best kept secrets. A lovely place to admire and learn about worlds gone by, and a logging town that’s still run traditionally by the same 6th generation family, with long term respect for reforesting. Adding fuel to the steam train engine was a fun kid activity and the best local coffee, milkshakes and snacks available in a nice setting. Great folks to talk to about the towns history, with plenty of memorabilia available 👍😎
