Toorongo River Chalets

Beautiful location! We stayed with friends and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Frank was very friendly and welcoming. We used the BBQ area and fire pit and had a great time. The accommodation was very comfortable with modern amenities. The natural surroundings with the sights and sounds of the creek and beautiful colourful birds and lush greenery were truly remarkable. Also plenty to explore in terms of the creek and walks in the sprawling 100+ acre property. Its also so close to the Tooronga and Amphitheatre water falls which is an added bonus. Will go back for sure.

Best wedding venue in the world!!!! Toorongo River Chalets is truely magical! You only need to drive into the driveway to realise that straight away. Absolutely stunning!!!
Troy the manager at Toorongo River Chalets is a true professional and absolute legend! He went above and beyond to make our day perfect! We went to the venue to meet with Troy 5 times before even getting married to show family, discuss details and just to enjoy the property! Nothing was to far fetched!
Being able to stay at the venue the night before, night of and the night after the wedding was also unreal. I feel like that is un heard of for a wedding venue. We got to enjoy our special day for the whole weekend. The accommodation was incredible! So modern and clean. Was spectacular waking up and getting hair and makeup done being already at the venue.
Stunning fairy lights above the reception area, stunning views and such a good vibe! We have had multiple people say it was the best wedding they have ever been to! The food was incredible, bar service was awesome and amazing atmosphere.
I could go on and on, but honestly thank you Troy from the bottom of our hearts! You played a big role in making our day perfect 🤍

My husband and I recently got married at Toorongo River Chalets and could not be happier with our choice. The venue speaks for itself with stunning nature backdrops, and spectacular features such as the light tree, love sign, love swing and the festoon lighting on the deck. Troy and Julie are so accomodating and will go above and beyond to make your wedding day a dream come true. We still can’t wipe the smiles off our faces when reflecting on our magical day, and we highly recommend this venue for any big event.

Troy is the next best thing to a Genie! I have to say, I have never met a man as dedicated & hardworking as Troy. My daughter was married in November 2023 & Troy was our everything. He arranged everything, if he didn’t know something, he found out about it. We tasked Troy with a wedding involving an entire disabled bridal party & groom party, wheelchairs, (electric & manual), crutches, everything. Nothing was too much. Everything was done to perfection & then more! I cannot thank Troy & his army of amazing staff enough for an outstandingly perfect day. The grounds are stunning, the reception areas simply exceptional! Thank you, thank you, thank you! You have made the nigh on impossible, a bit of a miracle!

I'm a celebrant and recently married a couple at Tooronga River Chalets. The difference between a good venue and an exceptional venue is the staff. Troy and his team are absolutely amazing, they went above and beyond to create a fabulous day for the couple. The grounds are so beautiful too. It was really lovely working with them on this wedding ceremony amd cant wait to go back in the future.

Everything about this place is fabulous. The staff, accommodation, function areas, fo od, scenery and atmosphere is brilliant. This place also has an area for campers. Only 5km is Toorongo Falls. Absolutely stunning. Do yourself a favour and experience this absolutely stunning place.

Everything we asked for was catered to, if we couldn’t find something or get something, Troy would find it for us. Every guest said it was the best or one of the best weddings they have ever been to because of how beautiful the venue is. This is by far the best place in Victoria to get married. I cannot praise this place enough. We stayed at the Mannagum chalet for the weekend and had our wedding at the venue by the river bank. The chalet was nice and cozy with a beautiful view. The staff went above and beyond. We were shocked and amazed at how much effort everyone went to to make the day perfect. Everyone was so helpful. It was definitely worth every cent. We will definitely be returning to the chalet and will definitely recommend the venue to friends and family for future weddings.

We recently had our wedding at Toorongo River Chalets. Our day went absolutely perfectly because of the fantastic team! Troy, Cathy and the rest of their team went above and beyond to make the day go smoothly and ensured all guests were well taken care of, so we could enjoy our day and not have to worry about logistics. I highly recommend the venue to anyone looking for a wedding venue or anyone wanting a little retreat away from the city.

We were there to celebrate my nephew’s wedding. It was a magnificent setting, in the open air with seating for the immediate family and shading for the other friends. The reception area setting was magical, with quirky areas set aside for such food items as giant doughnuts for both big and little kids.
What was most impressive was the quality and quantity of the finger food that appeared frequently throughout the evening. Assisting in this was a high ratio of staff who were so courteous, fun, knowledgeable about the food, responsive to requests, and generally pleasant to have around. They really made this special occasion even more memorable.
Thank you all for one of the most heartwarming experiences ever. I couldn’t recommend you highly enough!

Wedding weekend, glamping, owners couldn't do enough for us. Reception, food so awesome and couldn't eat it all. Staff helpful, friendly and fun. Great place to chill in the country as well. Can you give 10 🌟

We had a wedding there on the 20/3.
One word Brilliant.
The staff the food was far beyond the call of duty.
I would highly recommend this to anyone.
We even took our caravan and parked down the bottom, no power.
Showers and toilets not far away.

We went mid week late July and stayed 3 nights in the Tree Fern studio. The setting and facility was perfect. The studio was a good size and fully equipped. Gas Heater coped well with even the coldest of nights and the view over the river, gave us that tranquil feeling of being close to nature while still having all the mod cons. It was clean and well looked after with quality furnishing and everything we needed for the 3 nights.

Had a perfect morning sitting in the spa while watching a Lyrebird scratching around the undergrowth.

Tips: Take your own cookware if you’re a bit of a foodie and the TV while a decent size, is too old school for USB and HD inputs.

We stayed here for our wedding at Nooj Hotel. I was completely blown away as we drove in. This place is so beautiful. We had planned to have our wedding photo's elsewhere but ended up coming back here to do them. We hired out all 3 chalets over the weekend, they were all so beautiful and romantic. Thank you so much for having us.

Took some time away from the kids. Just the two of us and nature. This was the perfect place for peace.
I can still smell the freshness of the air everytime I think of it. OH how I wish I was still there.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. I like the idea of using a pin key code instead of a key. I love the old doors and the secluded balcony with the outside spa.
Spent some time sitting on the tree that lay across the creek with my feet dangling over the cold refreshing stream and occasionally dipping my toes in.
And slept with a book on my on my chest, on a picnic blanket underneath an overhanging willow tree that filtered just enough sunlight to warm the bare toes. Only to be woken up by a couple of bush turkeys scratching for grubs and a wallaby nibbling lush grass.

Beautiful, staff are fantastic. Really enjoyed our time there.

This place is one you can never forget. Beautiful views clean accommodation and very helpful staff. We will be returning, think we have found our new little getaway. 5 stars from me would give more if I could. So in love

My husband and I got married at the Chalets in February this year.
Not only was it the best set up, the service they provided us was phenomenal.
I would recommend it to anyone who is planning on getting married or just using the accommodation!

We will be going back several times that is for sure!

Staff were amazing and in good spirit for such occasions which was a fun environment. Beautiful catering and so much care taken with setup and distribution. What a beautiful place to go! They even brought the sunshine out for us upon special request 😉

We loved staying here, the rooms are nice and have the most amazing views. We attended a wedding in the reception area, it was a great venue and the food was delicious. All the staff are very friendly.
