Went here early September 2023
Short steep walk roughly 20-25 mins
Sounds are very calming , the smell of the water is just so serene . Definitely worth visiting
Plenty of parking in the Torongo falls car park , path is very well marked

I absolutely adore the short and invigorating walk to Amphitheatre Falls, which takes about 20 minutes. It's a great alternative if you don't want to tackle the longer Toronga Falls walk or loop. The path is well-maintained, mostly uphill but not too steep, with stairs and handrails in some areas. The addition of a viewing platform by the park's tourism management is pure genius, providing a breathtaking panoramic view of the falls and the mesmerising rapids below. If you can time your visit after rainfall, you'll witness the falls at their most awe-inspiring and spectacular state. Don't miss this natural wonder!

Camping grounds not far from the start of walk, Public amenities, Well defined track. Not a hard walk but does go up a fair bit. Beautiful scenic surrounds. Well maintained cross over bridge on walk. Faster to come down than to get up to the falls, So much beauty to look at. Cool, refreshing. Just a great family day out, The kids loved all the fools Gold shimmering in the shallows

Such an excellent walking track, was beautiful all along, and loved the waterfalls!
It can get wet and muddy so I would suggest grippy shoes are appropriate to avoid falls.
Watch out for leeches if you're on the wet rocks/in the water at all ;)

Nice easy loop walk from the Toorongo falls lookout. Love that it’s a walkway above the at times raging river/creek underneath. After you finish at lookout turn right and track takes you back to starting point of loop

It's definite Do Not Miss. My favourite waterfall. It's a lovely bush walk to the falls lookout then continue the loop to get to the Amphitheatre which is unmissable.

Great drive for a day trip. Plenty of parking and picnic areas. There is a choice of walks long and short and the path is well-defined and requires moderate fitness. The scenery is picturesque and invigorating
