Beautiful place to ride horses. Instructor Robyn is experienced and was lovely to ride with. I joined up with Harley, he was a very good boy and I felt very safe with him. I would love to come back again. 🦅🐎

Robyn’s trail rides are absolutely fantastic! My twin daughters have been on a number of the rides and keep wanting to go back for more. They love the horses that they’ve ridden - Jack and Yogi. Robyn inspires a lot of confidence as a guide and is willing to let riders learn at a level they are ready for. This means that even if there is an absolute beginner on the trail, more experienced riders can challenge themselves and at the same time, beginner riders are well taken care of. Highly recommended.

Absolutely best horse trail rides on the peninsula. Robyn is a very skilled and professional riding teacher. Inclusive and kid friendly. I took my whole family. Great experience. Good value for money. Can't wait to ride again with Robyn. Highly, highly recommend.

What a wonderful experience, Robyn was amazing with her direction and guiding us on how to ride the horse correctly. I rode a horse named Princeton and he was the best and very easy to ride. Would highly recommend this place for anyone that is looking to go on a ride.

Beautiful, quiet, well cared for horses and lovely scenery too! Robyn did a great job matching horses to riders and was encouraging. She taught 'join up' and gave instruction before commencing the trail ride. We'll be back!

14/05/2023 - Thank you Robyn for teaching me how to ride western style and how to steer off the mouth. I had a fantastic trail ride on Princeton. You explained the horses behaviours, gave me great pointers, demonstrated positions for trotting/cantering and introduced me to the 'join up' experience. It's great to understand all the herds' personalities and I had a wonderful day. I highly recommend. ❤
(For anyone trying a trail ride - try to match your personality with your horse - calm, assertive, energetic etc & be honest with your experience level. All of us learnt how to steer one handed & the lesson in the beginning really helps).

My daughter and myself did an early morning trek here this morning. We can't believe we never knew about this place! Robyn is so friendly and extremely good at getting you to get to know the horse you are ridding that day. She gives very clear instructions and checks in with you regularly. The horses are really cared for and well trained. We have ridden on many trail rides over the years and this was definitely up there. We will absolutely be going back.

I absolutely love riding here with Robyn, Robyn is the nicest person I have ever met, her facilities are just amazing and her horses are just so well trained. Robyn allows you to do join up with your horse to create a bond, it's such a great experience to go on the trail down the paths looking over the land of author seat, Robyn is perfect at making you feel comfortable in the saddle. The people couldn't be better, this place is amazing for you to ride.

My partner and her two daughters loved the whole experience from start to finish. Robyn who greeted us (Along with her rotweiller!) at the stables was very welcomming. She taught us all how to bond with our individual horse and made sure everyone was comfortable prior to setting off on the ride. She also very helpful in explaining how to position your body when the horse goes into a trot! We all had an awesome day and I would highly recommend this place. The people who gave 1 or 2 stars and a bad review I believe are disgruntled. Robyn showed us nothing but great hospitality as many of her previous reviews. Thank you again.

I usually use this account for strange reviews but I’m using it for real this time- had a blast I was slightly nervous to canter but when I did Robyn was so nice and congratulated me. I didn’t feel like a customer but more like a mate. Got an incredible horse, so calm and very well trained. The horses are looked after so well. Staff were delightful and not rude like many other trail rides. Thank you Robyn for an incredible time I will definitely come back!!

Great horse riding experience. Robyn's knowledge is amazing. You get to connect with your horse before you go out on the trail. I highly recommend it

My partner and I recently visited the Peninsula and last minute on our Sunday morning wanted to see if we could catch a trail ride. We were so glad we called Robyn! she was super accommodating as we had been late to call before their morning ride.

I've only had a handful of lessons/trail rides in the space of 10 years and my partner less than me, but I can say it was is was the most comprehensive time with horses I've ever experienced. Robyn and her team have a very laid back with casual approach which made us feel very comfortable as soon as we arrived, being introduced our our horses (and all the horses for that matter) learning how they communicate with one another and how they communicate with us, and as we're to communicate with them. Bonding with our horse before finally jumping on the back, feeling comfortable, receiving instruction, then heading off.

While on the ride we continually checked in on and asked if we were comfortable as well as prompting us to correct any misdoings or bad habits we maybe getting into. Feeling more comfortable and with the support of Robyn and her team (and my amazing horse, Mack) they helped experience some trotting and then with a little more assistance, cantering.

Both our horses and trainers were calm and patient with us and it was clear to see how much love Robyn has for her beautiful horses and how proud she is of them.

Thank you for an amazing time. Well worth it! Can't wait to go back.

We have booked a two hours ride for four people with DiDi rent levels of confidence. Robin has listened and was very helpful with guiding for all levels. Horses well behaved and the trail was nice. Overall great experience. I’ll definitely do it again.

Loved our ride with the small group and beautiful setting. The horses were wonderful, so well behaved. We arrived and it was bustling, saddling up, etc. We waited and were seen to in turn, in the meantime there is lot to look at. The owner/staff know their stuff. Firm characters but realised quickly the concern for safety for horse and rider seemed the basis (rightly!), and went with it. Once we got into the flow it was more relaxed. The introduction to horses and connection session before the ride is such a great addition. Even as someone who has been fortunate to have owned horses, I learnt and loved this. It was a bit drizzly that day, and they had drizabones available too! I'll be coming back certainly.

We decided to take our girls on their first horse ride and what a place to do it. The most amazing part of it was you didn’t just turn up and jump on a horse. Robyn had us brush the horses, clean their hooves, then walk them around to make sure they were comfortable with us. As the girls are 6 and 8 Robyn had them attached to her and they had a ball, even with some trotting.
Look forward to dropping in when we come down to visit the family. Thank you Robyn for a great experience.

I've been here about 6 or 7 times now since we moved to the area. Good value trail ride for beginners or experienced. Nice well looked after horses. Some quite forward moving. I'm a mature aged person who's been riding for a very long time, owned my own horses and ridden at a lot of trail riding places in Victoria. This suits me because I like to have a trot and canter but don't want to be on a horse for more than a couple of hours now and this is only 1-1/2 hour ride. Plenty of trotting and usually one good canter but you could sneak in a few more short ones especially if you get at the back of the ride and have a catch up canter as it's not totally nose to tail. You are allowed to pass other horses and don't have to ride in single file! Robyn will give instruction along the way so good for beginners and she's also reminded me of some bad habits I've gotten into over the years! Friendly accommodating staff. Nice easy tracks through bush.

This experience was great and I would definitely go again. The ride was fun and the guide had lots of helpful tips. Before the ride we got to spend some time bonding with the horses doing things like grooming them. The horses were really well trained and responded really well to directions. At the start of the ride it was thunderstorming but the horses were really calm and barely flinched at thunder. Overall this was a beautiful ride and I would totally recommend to others.

Have been riding here for as long as I can remember and it's like a second home. Robyn and Liz are so full of knowledge and love for their horses, there really isn't a better place to learn to ride. All the horses are safe schoolmasters who are very well looked after. Every type of rider is accepted here and Robyn has the skills to improve anyone's riding, from beginner to advanced.

Robyn taught my daughter everything that is to know about riding, she is now (a couple of years of weekly lessons) confident enough to have her own horse and look after it and ride it responsibly. We often take trail rides too, at Arthurs' Seat Trail Rides which is owned by Robyn and her mother and always felt safe, being matched to the right horse for our level and had the most beautiful experience in the bush.
