The Long Yard Larder

We stopped here for coffee and some snacks as the turnaround point for the Ferney Grove to Samford Village bike rail trail. Plenty of room to leave the bikes, for those coming by car on street parking available adjacent. Indoor seating or outdoor under the covered footpath. Even early the place was busy, fast and friendly staff. The food arrived fast along with the coffee order, all good, especially the coffee. Good place for an old style village cafe stop.

We stopped by this great cafe at Samford. The Cheese & Onion Pasty was so tasty, accompanied by great coffee. The staff were so friendly, service was really good and there was a great range of cakes and pastries to choose from in the cabinet.. The Long Yard Larder is very well-located in the centre of Samford, with plenty of street parking outside. We look forward to our next visit!

Ducked in for a quick snack brunch type requirement. Had an egg & bacon roll but it was so delicious my daughter ate it all! I had to buy another one for me. Coffee was spot on too. Then we came back later for an ice cream & that received a glowing report. Very polite, attentive staff too. Will definitely come back.

Had an amazing breakfast here today, the food and coffee was amazing and the staff were very friendly with great service! I have eaten at most cafés in the area and this is my new favourite, Highly recommend!

We stopped by for breakfast before a road trip, ordered the corn fritter and went to the park across the way(quite fun!). When I came back, the food was at our table and looked amazing! The presentation was on a whole other level and the taste was even better! The egg was poached perfectly and everything worked well together. All in all, my expectations were blown out of the water and it was probably the best meal I have ever had!

Great environment, great atmosphere and food. Staff are always friendly and the owner is down to earth and very helpful and a good bloke.

Long Yard Larder is a terrific spot - service and atmosphere are incredible, is situated in great Samford area which is a plus, and the owner and every staff member are very personal and friendly. Definitely recommend.

I enjoyed the iced latte and bacon and egg toastie. The latte is smooth, doesn't leave a bitter aftertaste like some other places. Great place to have a bite after a ride. They're open a lot later than other places too

If you want to eat out at Samford or Dayboro, nothing beats the long yard larder. In terms of quality and price, the food is the best out of anywhere we've been here. Food also comes out very quickly. On top of all this, they manage to deliver this level of service consistently and I can't reasonably make a single complaint. The staff are all very friendly and the owner Cliff will always come over and give a quick hello - it's a very welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for ice cream, too, they have delicious Maleny dairy gelato, as well as the best sorbet i've had.

I went and had an ice cream, it was perfect. The customer service was excellent and we all enjoyed the afternoon treat. I highly recommend1

Super lovely team and hands down one of the best coffees you will find in Samford. Has a great breakfast menu plus dog friendly if you want to take your fur-baby!

Fantastic food, coffee, service, location. Corn fritters were the bomb (sorry for not taking the photo earlier), have been looking for a new local and think we found it!!! Brisbanites, please don't come here on weekends 😆

Great food off the cooked menu (bacon is crispy every time), excellent coffee and an owner who cares. A favourite.

Delicious gelato and sorbet. We had the best lychee sorbet, super creamy and refreshing. Heaps of flavours to choose from! We will be back!
