The Flying Nun Cafe

We came here for my birthday today and it was great! The food is so reasonably priced, the atmosphere was so chill, everything was delicious and the two people who served us were so polite and friendly 😊 It had been a few years since our last visit and it was definitely worth the trip!

Great place with a lovely atmosphere. We ordered pan-fried salmon and smashed avo with feta, loved it all. Staff was super friendly and the place has a unique tropical vibe sitting outside.
Coffee was top notch too, definitely coming back.

I came here last week with my partner and ordered the chicken waffles. They were delicious! So delicious that I even came back again by myself this week to have more ;)

Nice quiet cafe off the main street. The service, food and surroundings are always good. Street parking available. Disability access is quite good. Book ahead for a table.

This place is groovy 😍😍😍. Heaps of seating for larger groups. Their food is great as well as their coffee. If you're planning a day trip to Samford. It's worth stopping in for a coffee or something to eat.

It's a unique experience with a lovely vibe. The food is amazing and so is the service. We love going here everytime we are in Brisbane!

Very nice expression of double shot latte. Enjoyed glass of Prosecco with lovely brunch. Shared large breakfast extra side of halloumi and smashed avo. Lovely spot with lots of seating options, friendly obliging staff

Have been here many times over the years. The food is always excellent and the coffee is fantastic. It can be very busy on the weekends so book ahead if you have a large group. If you are happy to wait for a table they will give you a call when one becomes available. Staff are always so friendly. Best cafe in Samford and worth the roadtrip for!

A beautiful place with great service and good food. We went on a weekday and it felt like we were the only ones there because the cafe is split up into rooms, giving you lots of privacy and space from other diners. The decor was magical and the glass windows just stunning. Food was hot and fresh, coffee was a really decent brew and we would definitely go back 😁

Great service, yummy food, lots on the menu to choose from, lots of friendly staff, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, relaxing atmosphere and good coffee too.

Lovely day to be out and about, servers were a bit nervous but very nice. I had the chicken and waffles with sriracha maple syrup and will absolutely travel back to have it again! Coffee was great and perfect temperature when brought out. Service at the counter was fantastic as well!

Great breakfast/lunch/dinner menu. Very extensive drinks list. Both my friend and I were extremely satifised with our meals and drinks. I've been thinking about going back ever since I left!

Wow! The Wagyu eef burger was amazing. Homemade bun, fresh beef and the chips were so tasty. Will be back soon.

It's a cozy, little café that has great service and welcoming waitresses. I love their cool location because it's semi-hidden behind some trees and bushes. Their food is satisfyingly fantastic; the honey-roasted pumpkin salad, tiger prawn vermicelli salad, and the wagyu beef spring rolls. :) Great place to dine when in Samford Valley.

As a regular, I felt obliged to review this fantastic cafe. Plenty of options (mind you I’m more of a breakfast person), delicious food, decent value. And the best coffee I’ve ever had. Heaps more positive stuff to say about this place.
