This business started over twenty years ago as a van in the front yard and is now a couple of sheds in the yard. Fresh seafood comes in daily from local trawler s and supplemented by other sources
Prawns oysters scallops crabs and bugs are mainstays with fish fillets
Today we picked up a kilogram of whiting fillets. Other days local fish varieties are offered
Worth coming in the morning to get a coffee from the pop up on the verandah. The staff are very funny with a wicked sense of humour! Supplies offered are first class as well as assortment of sauces

Good fresh local seafood,friendly service, visited once last year, owner gave us 2 extra crabs this time, will back next year too.

Prawns and bugs were awesome, guy behind the counter was clearly a local and a really good bloke to chat with ,, highly recommend this place if Ur looking for good seafood to sit camping at Flinders Beach

It's always open, 7 days a week come rain, hail or virus. Clean fresh food

I suppose you could say my review is biased as this is my family business, so I'll just say this. This family is 100% dedicated to putting the customers first. They pride themselves in their commendable service and quality of products. They love to make your time spent at Straddie all the better by providing the best fresh local seafood around!

Love their cooked fresh prawns. We had the medium size prawns but the small ones are sweeter.

We stay in Point Lookout and happily drive to Amity to get all our seafood.

Fabulous that they now sell good coffee in the mornings and currently accommodate the 'Moroccan Magic' food van.
At the food van I had a fabulous vegetarian pastry + a vanilla slice.
Worth going back tomorrow to try more of the vendor's cooking.

Every time we went to Straddie, this seafood shop is one of our must-go place. Seafood are very very fresh and tasty. Highly recommend, I believe that you wont get disappointed.

Made a point of calling in to Amity to go to Rufus Kings , bought some beautiful fresh prawns and amazing snapper fillet. The seafood sauce with chilli is to die for and made prawns taste amazing. Will definitely go back

We brought some of their king prawns just beautiful, fresh, plump and flavorful.

Delicious freshly cooked prawns and crab. And a dozen oysters which I shared with my wife in our car whilst it was pouring with rain. It made up for the bad weather completely
And all locally sourced - truly wonderful

Even though we purchased thawed prawns because of inclement weather they were amazing.
Also purchased mullet fillets for the first time and oven cooked them in a papillon with butter and fresh lime Amazing also.
Just proves you don't have to spend a fortune on seafood to have a great meal.
