Bo Beans Coffee

Great coffee and added a piece of carrot cake and tropical muffin to the order too. It was a beautiful tranquil little spot and the service was super friendly. Would totally recommend dropping in to visit.

On week end away to Straddie, we visited Bo’s Beans as we were needing a good coffee to start our day. Coffee here was the best we had for the whole week end ( and we drink a LOT of coffee) what struck us was how personable and informative Bo was. He provided suggested places to see, valuable and community information, and the vibe at his place is just so delightful. Thank you Bo, when we are back we will be back for sweet treats and coffee again and maybe even a game of giant Jenga.

Definitely the best coffee on North Stradbroke island, maybe even QLD so far! (We are travellers from NSW) Really fast and friendly service, large range of alternative milks and great little seating area too.

The coffee was good and they had many options. The owners were extremely nice and friendly. They are very knowledgeable about the area and gave us advice!
The café is made of the stand where you get the coffee from and two tables outside in the shade.

Superb!! Bo Beans is the cafe you wish your local was like. Great coffee with even better service, outdoor seating & ample street parking right out front. I like my coffee strong & dark (long or short black or as Bo calls it “low tide long black”) & this place provides it. That’s hard to find in any city, yet alone on an island. 15 min from Point Lookout, it’s worth the drive. Grab one of their surfboard stickers & spread the good word & vibes about Bo Beans. ☕⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A stay at Amity is not complete without our morning coffee!! Bo is amazing. He remembers our order even though we aren't daily customers. That kind of service is hard to come by so we are so pleased we get to enjoy it not to mention the yummy cakes and slices too!

Best coffee I’ve had. Go here first to get advice on what to do at Straddie. The friendliest guy. Great Barista skills but also helped us know the most current places to go, who’s open and who’s not, fishing spots, picnic spots - seriously Bo should be a newbie travel advice place for this of us new to the Island - even for a day.
Milk lab alternative milks, Bonsoy, macadamia, GF muffins & cereals, Byron Bay cookies, heaps more so we’ll be back next visit and go here first instead of guessing what’s open & what to do.

Such a cute little place to visit in the suburbs of Amity Point. We used the Stradbroke Island Scooters to get around and came across this spot. Also have fresh seafood at the back of Cafe. Had a lovely Tumeric Latte here.

A rose amongst the thorns, we found the hospitality side of our visit to Straddie to be a bit lacklustre but not Bo's. The coffee was perfect every time and no 'island tax' on the prices either, great conversation whilst we waited and an excellent spot to get some local knowledge of the island.

Will 100% return to Bo's next time we are on Straddie regardless of which township we stay in.

Amazing coffee, very high standard! Great service and good vibes. Definitely recomend even worth a drive from dunwich to amity for us, or when you pick up your local seafood!! Thank you so much Bo!

Best coffee on the island! Bo's brew is well worth the small scenic drive from Point Lookout. We found ourselves returning each morning for his delicious coffee and cheerful, informative service. Much appreciated

This is our favorite place for morning coffee!! The coffee is delicious and Bo himself is absolutely lovely! I’m an American gal and he took the time to figure out exactly what coffee would take my fancy. My Aussie family agrees that his coffee is best on island!
