Red Rock Trail

Wonderful coastal walk involving a series of beaches and headlands with different scenery at every turn. We walked to the top of the headland end of Red Rock beach looking for a sign we’d finished. We never saw one, but having reached a red rock cliff overlooking crashing waves, we think we finished. 😊🌊

Very hard in the hot blazing sun, but definitely beautiful! And not too difficult, recommend going very early.

Absolutely gorgeous views! The track wasn't too bad, I don't have the best knees and I coped without my hiking poles. Worth it for the views!!

Beautiful beaches and lovely walk. Saw the whales coming through which was a bonus.

Do this early or late in the day, it can get warm. Worth it though.

Wenn man langsam und vorsichtig fährt kann man mit einem normalen PKW zum Parkplatz fahren

I was a bit fearful it was a 4WD track when the GPS told me to turn onto the dirt trail. Just keep going, a few holes here and there that you'll be able to go around and the parking lot will be further up.

The signs and paths on this track is pretty straight forward. It isn't a difficult walk but wow is it a scenic one!

It's approximately 6km based on my pedometer and took me around 2hrs to complete with stops/pictures in between.

However, I wasn't sure where the ending was as there were no signs...

Beautiful, tranquil walk with amazing coastal views throughout.

Difficult walk in midday simply due to sheer heat. Otherwise very pleasant. Was afraid that it was a 4WD track. But multiple small cars are able to do it. For reference we saw a mini cooper, Mazda 2, Hyundai i30 and VW polo able to drive along it.

View was great and we saw Kangaroo on the way. I wasn’t too sure when was ending though. Sometimes you need to walk on the beach, so it was hard point for me but it’s pretty chill beach so it would be nice spot for swimming or taking a rest.

A nice walk along the coastline but not much shade. Some quite unpatrolled beaches along the way.
The walk back up to the car park takes a bit of effort after a 3 hr or so walk.

Very good walk, great swim at the end before returning. Minimum signage but easy to follow.

Well marked and a relatively easy walk. Back into the wind made it feel longer.
