Clint was an amazing help! He was able to book us our fabulous 3 dives IN 3 different spots! BUT THERE'S MORE!!! The underwater camera was available!!!! So for our Bucket List dive, we were also able to commemorate this beautiful experience and made it all the more special! Clint is also super knowledgeable regarding the activities we should be doing, the falls to go see and the time frames we should be planning.
All in all, if you don't book with Clint you've already made the biggest mistake!!!!

Amazing. The organisation was perfect. They managed to offer 6 dives for the price of 5. Which included a night dive. I paid 585 AUD for this. The team is very professional, the food was really good and the accommodation is perfect. Very good beds, bedrooms for 2 people.
You can also get an Olympus camera for free for your journey.

I had booked 3 different journeys and all were just amazing!
First I had a wonderful trip 3 days, 2 nights on Reef Encounter and completed my SSI Open Water Diver Course. After that I booked an amazing railway-skyrail trip to the rainforest village of Kuranda. I completed my holiday with a second liveaboard Scuba Dive on Reef Encounter.
On both reef trips, I got the free professional underwater camera which is just amazing. The photos are just so much better then the pictures you could take with a GoPro. Clint even gave me many helpful hints, how to get the perfect shot under water. Just look at the photos attached, they turned out amazing, even I nearly have no photography experience!
I would highly recommend you to contact Clint in person or on his website and check, which trip fits you the best!

Flawless organisation and quick response! Clint is a great guy who knows what he's doing. He organized my trip spontaneously and made things happen without any problems. A big plus is that he came to the shop earlier than usual to provide me with an underwater camera for my trip.

Clint is very friendly and professional, when I walked in the shop, he gave me a lot of useful information and advice, and showed me the website to check out the wind level if I wanted to go islands, and gave me 3 maps for hiking and road trips. The Reef Encounter team is exceptional! We did a 2 day/1 night liveaboard trip and had the absolute best time. We rarely leave reviews, but the dive team was so friendly, fun, and wonderful (shoutout to Lola who was an incredibly patient and fun dive instructor! T'es très cool.). All the food was delicious, rooms/facilities were clean. The underwater photographer was amazing. Not a single complaint :)

I did a two day/one night lifeaboard trip and I enjoyed it very much. Clint was very helpful with my numerous questions and worries and answered to every email promptly and very friendly. He even arranged to keep the office open a little longer so I could come and pick up my underwater camera. The boat itself was very clean, the cabin cozy and the food delicious. The dive instructors were experienced and knowledgeable and the whole tour was well organized. The reef diving of course was awesome. I would definitely recommend booking your tour with Cairns Dive Adventures!

We have just returned from a stay in Cairns and wanted to give a big thanks to Clint. His great advice made our trip to the outer reef much more enjoyable. We couldn't recommend them enough! We booked with them and received a free camera rental for the day. We've some brilliant underwater photos thanks to them.

We had a fabulous seamless and fun dive trip with Cairns Dive Adventures. We did an overnight live-aboard and the scuba diving was amazing. We also borrowed an underwater camera and with Clint's top tips, managed to capture some amazing photos too! Thank you!

This was our second Liveaboard trip that we organised through Cairns Dive Adventures, first trip was on Reef Encounter - reviewed here in Nov 2016 and it was great. This trip was in Dec 17 and we went on Spirit of Freedom for the 3 night Cod Hole trip. Spirit of Freedom is a very nice boat with excellent attentive crew and a good ratio of crew to guests. Room was very comfortable. Food very plentiful and great quality. There were safety divers in the water on every dive and these Dive Instructors guided us when required. This was an excellent trip in every way. Perfect weather, interesting and safe diving. Visibility generally around 20m plus. Highly recommended.
Cairns Dive Adventures were wonderful again. Easy booking process, great communication. Clint even came back to the office on Saturday afternoon at 5pm to meet me and showed me how to get the best out of the complimentary camera outfit they loaned me. That is terrific service. Catered for vegans, and had some amazing yummy food cooked by the chef.
Amazing dive spots with abundance of marine life our favourite was lighthouse Bommie
Swam with around 7 Dwarf Minke whales and overall the trip had 20-30 sightings including a humpback whale!
Our room was spacious and neat with no issues and the staff were so helpful.

This trip was AMAZING!!..... All the crew were fabulous! super friendly and helpful!!!! .... and very patient!!!!!. The whole trip was really well organised, we always knew exactly what we were going to do and where we were going. Ocean quest is a really comfortable, roomy ship, great food and comfortable cabins. Plenty of room on the dive deck and great equipment. We were not disappointed by any of the dive sites!!! Absolutely beautiful!!... and of course the stars of the show.... the Minke Whales!!! Plenty of them showed up and entertained us all!!!!... would highly recommend doing this trip!!!!

Very helpful and cheerful in answering our questions pre booking. Seamless booking process. But stand out quality demonstrated when our trip cancelled resulting from a covid quarantined boat. Clint was incredibly fast in responding to arrange our full refund of deposit paid to Cairns Dive Adventures. Absolute confidence in recommending as a trustworthy operator.

Amazing interaction with minke whales. We saw 15 whales and were swimming with them around 2 metres away. Clint is really helpful and let us borrow his camera for free. We got some really nice snaps of a trip we will never forget.

We booked introductory dives (two dives a piece, 5 people, so a substantial investment, at least on our budget!) with Cairns Dive Adventures initially through the website and ultimately after a very informative email exchange with Clint. Clint's responses to my questions were fast (in spite of a big time zone difference) , complete, informative, and professional. I described in my initial inquiry what I thought we were after, and Clint responded with a recommendation that worked out spot-on for our party of five. He was informative and respectful in my follow-up email questions about whether this was really the right choice for us. It WAS! Unfortunately I was unable to complete the second intro dive. A refund for this dive in accordance with the provider's refund policy was awarded promptly by Cairns Dive Adventures. WOW! Tell these guys who you are dive/snorkel/swimmer-wise and what you think you want, and I bet they will find a great match for you. In our case, I am darned sure their recommendation was better than what I found on an internet search on my own. We will use them again if we are am so lucky as to be in Cairns again!

Had an amazing trip out on the Ocean Quest scuba diving and snorkeling with Dwarf minke whales and at some of the best reef diving the Great Barrier Reef has to offer. This was all organised through Clint who did an amazing job making sure we were ready for the trip and had everything we needed, including loan of an underwater camera (plus tips on how to use it) and making sure our dietary requirements would be met (vegan)
Super happy and would book through Clint again in a heartbeat!
