Food World Cafe

We arrived as they were about to close the kitchen. Instead of saying sorry they just politely asked if we could order quickly. We did and promptly received our dinners without any feeling of being rushed. As usual the food was great and the staff seemed happy. All you could ask for in an easy dinner experience.

Food is consistent, I love the flat rice noodle there never disappointing. Portion are good and priced reasonably. Staff was friendly and service quick. Will definitely go back

This place is a constant for us. They are consistent on every level. The majority of the staff are very friendly, and we have never had a bad meal. The menu is vast, and caters for all tastes. The restaurant is clean and bright and the meals are very cheap. Keep up the great work, and thank you. Happy eating!!!!

One of my favourite Chinese restaurants. I drive an hour sometimes for this place and its so worth it. Been there so many times and never had a bad experience.

Food World Cafe is a Restaurant I have been having most of my lunches over many years. This Chinese restaurant is very clean with friendly staff and menues to cater every taste. Their portions are rather generous and their prices are to suit a diverse clientele. This is my favourite Chinese Restaurant in Wollongong.

Never had a bad meal..never had to wait long for meals. Always well priced.

First of all the layout and decor is a major improvement from the old building where they were previously situated.
The food is always fresh and great flavour. Unfortunately like most Asian restaurant's the rice is dry and mediocre. Probably due to "Not" cooking fresh batches every hour or so. A small disappointment.
Wanton soup always a fave here !
Kung Pao Chicken packs a punch, wow. Very Nice.
Honey Chicken just right (rice, meh).
Overall a good dining experience day or night, friendly wait staff and we'll priced. Deserving of 5 stars compared to other local Asian restaurant's.

Great value for money, very tasty with big portions. A good range of authentic Asian cuisine. Service is very friendly but it can get pretty busy!

Favourite noodle restaurant. Fast attentive wait staff. the menu is extensive. Generous sized meals offering good value for money.

The food here is amazing. We had the Shanghai Noodles with Black Bean Sauce and it was amazing. The drinks were good and my favourite was the prawns in black sauce.

Food World is a restaurant dear to my family. It has been a constant companion for my family for over 20 years. We had many fond times at their former location across the road on Keira Street. My mum thought we earned the privilege to enter the restaurant via the kitchen in the back sometimes. The more recent incarnation retains the quality cooking, good value and extensive menu options we enjoyed at the former premises. I'm convinced their pork paper rolls are the best in the world. I often hanker for its food when I'm away.
