THE BEST fried chicken.

Old owners were great but the new owners are cool as also. Customer service is excellent. The go above and beyond.

Our regular restaurant and the kids love it too.

My favourite Korean Restaurant. I always come back for the spicy pork and the sweet garlic soy Korean fried chicken. The owners and workers are always super friendly. My boyfriend has been coming here for years so he knows the owners well. We had our first date here we always have great memories here as well as great food :)

Great service. Wouldnt have thought of finding a korean restuarant in Wollongong but it was great. Enjoyed the chicken dak galbi basically chicken and cheese on a sizzling hot plate that continues to heat it whilst you eat.

Amazing local Korean BBQ experience. Good prices, good quality food, good range. There are so many dishes and BBQ options.

Also the staff are friendly and attentive.

Warning: the Volcano Chicken really is that hot. It will literally make you cry. It is so good, it is the first thing I order when I go each time.

That’s not for everyone, but that’s why I love this place. It’s so rare to find spicy food at the true brutal end of spicy. For people like me that makes this restaurant a real treat (and of course there are many non-spicy or mild options if you’re not into crazy hot).

Nice atmosphere, with a pleasant view of the locals wandering through the mall. Bibimbap was very fresh, kimchi was delicious, not too sour.

We love these guys!! The owners are amazing and their food is Delish. They always go the extra mile.

Everywhere says their hot sauce is hot but these guys mean it. Very friendly staff, great food and nice atmosphere. Massive portions too

Very tasty food and super friendly service. We had a bibimbap and some fried chicken, which was also delicious.

Ordered food at 8:20 through a delivery app, wasn’t notified that it wasn’t coming until 8:50 when the driver reported it closed.
Edit: was originally a 1 star review but was not warranted, I was just angry my dinner wasn’t coming. I’ve heard good things about their food but yet to try.

The fried chicken from here is really good. Also they serve some small snacks which are really tasty. Plus the lady who served us was really friendly.

The owners of Illnara are amazing! They were very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a memorable birthday dinner with friends. We ordered two share plates between four and found it to be the perfect amount of food. Will definitely be visiting again!

I have been coming here regularly for the past few years and have always been extremely happy with my experience at Illnara. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Whenever I try a new dish, they always explain to me what it is meant to be like. Their hot pots, especially the dak-galbi, are some of the best dishes in their menu.

Sold to a White owner but they know better what is Korean food than some places not run by White. Taste great, services great, fair price.

Regular customer, food is always good with a variety of side dishes. The wait staff are punctual and the owners are lovely and take great care in their customer service.

Fried chicken is always a hit when I bring new friends, that and their kimchi fried rice. If you're worried about spice the hot stone bimbimbap is great since you can choose the amount of chilli sauce.

I have been coming to Illnara for a while, and every single time I've been here the food is incredible and everyone is always so lovely and welcoming. I've have food off the BBQ menu, the chicken menu, as well as the regular dishes menu and everything always is so fresh. I've been even getting delivery for when I have been at work, definitely one of me favorite places in Wollongong.

This place is fantastic. The food is amazing and it's so much fun to bring a group of friends here to eat and drink the night away. Special thanks to Ron, who is hilarious.
I definitely recommend eating here.
