Chef's Choice

I was so hungry after work and so craved for fried rice here. But it was very closed to their closing time (i made the order approx 10min prior to closing time) and I’m so glad they still accepted it. The staffs were so friendly and the food is as good as usual! Love this place!

I highly recommend this restaurant as I have my favourite beef chow fun(乾炒牛河） here. The noodle soup is also wonderful.

We visited the Botanical Garden in Wollongong and found this gem. Awesome selection of Chineese and Cambodian cuisine. only tried the stir fry. Friendly staff. Yummy food.

Real value for money for the type of food you get. Great simple food, generous portions. Our favs are beef pho, special vermicelli noodle salad and their pork chop rice.

My favourite Wollongong restaurant. Literally been going here since I was a teenager. 15+ years! Highlights are the salt & spicy tofu, salt & spicy calamari and the honey prawns.

I now live overseas and I have yet to find any place that matches Chef's Choice's salt & spicy tofu. I go there everytime I visit home.

It’s right next to Wollongong Central! I always pass through here and everytime I see this place, it’s always packed and so I thought I will give it a try.
One of the best decisions made to have dinner here! The food here was delicious, price is also reasonable, nice and friendly staff!! I tried Lamb Ribs in Chef’s Choice Sauce and Pork Chop and OMG super delicious. 🤤Worth every penny!!!
Went there on weekend (house full), even though it was busy, our food came on time. There is 102 food items in menu and I’ll surely try everything one by one!
I highly recommend this place. I can guarantee every food is worth paying for.

Best chicken laksa in the whole entire universe. Literally to die for. I’m gonna name my cat after this deliciously scrumptious meal and give it the best life possible. Get extra tofu so worth it when you bite into it the tofu explodes and its flavour city all throughout my mouth. I will do everything in my power to ensure that this is my last meal.

As good as an inexpensive restaurant gets. Wide range of Chinese and South Asian dishes. Steamed chicken with ginger and soy sauce, shallot pancake, dip the pancake in the sauce, heaven. Management makes up for terrible English with convivial accommodating vibe. Pork chop, vermicelli spring rolls, Laksa also good. Everything's good.

Great for what it is; simple Chinese / Cambodian kitchen which serves good food at decent prices. I had some steamed veg which if I was was probably a bit over steamed but tasted fine and pretty cheap ($6). Also had the pork chop; fried well, plenty of flavour to it and soft. Then also had the sliced beef noodle which came in a little pot suspended above a tea candle to keep it warm. Looks a bit awkward to eat but it actually locks into place so you don't knock it over and poach your genitalia.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere of the restaurant was good.

Always my fave in gong. Try the spicy fish soup to clear those sinus.
Cashew and chicken stir fry is my go to dish.

Bought a bowl of the special beef pho. It was amazing. Without adding anything in it already tasted fantas4ic but the option to have it as spicy as you would like was very nice. Beautiful food. Would return in a heartbeat.

Good, cheap Chinese/generic Asian style food. Have been eating here more than a decade! We love the combination chow mein but with rice noodles, sizzling Szechuan beef, and more recently, the chili mint beef is amazing.

I have been getting food from here with my family for years. Takeaway and dine in. My kids and grandkids love it. Most dishes are authentic some westernised but we wouldnot know. Great flavours and variety. I had lunch here most days, though covid as i was working in the building. Staff are friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work.
