Nice quiet shopping centre. Great opening hours being a more country shop

It's a good shopping centre. Not a lot of parking for a caravan however.

Really handy to get your shopping. Ballets delight for fresh bread and we got the best steaks from the butchers. Lots of parking and not very busy

We did a small bit of shopping as we were in Goolwa to go to SA Pathology earlier in the day, so we went to Woolies, & Food land to get a few item's.
As Woolies didn't have what we needed to get, we dropped into Food land to get that item, but they to didn't have what we required, it is a 3 quarter hour drive to Goolwa, for us.
We noticed a few more small business ventures have opened up, giving it a go, from past knowledge, they can't stay open very long, based on not enough customer's, so rents being astronomical, asking too much to the small business, means not enough being made to afford the overheads involved.
We notice the small bakery has closed down, we always went there when we were in town, it was a popular spot, to sit outside, but it all looks quiet, not a pretty sight.
Council need to do their job & realise, that without small business being open, makes the town lack lustre, which in turn means less people coming to Goolwa.
Cost's (all) need to be brought down, so it is more affordable when folk's like us come to town to visit.
All in all, our visit was OK there, we did what we needed to do, & got a little shopping done.
Some of the local motorist's are very direspectable with how they drive their Bikes, Ute's & USV vehicles around, they need to realise there are other people out here who are doing the right thing, & having respect for other's, that they're not alone, (we're) here as well.
Car parking has become a huge problem in Goolwa since we were there last.

Mall area generally has something of interest to help you spend some time whilst the main shopper is busy

Yep, also has a good bottle shop.
Great place to set up for a sailing weekend.

Wow, what a surprise... I haven't been to Goolwa for a long, long time. We can across this shopping centre. Well we had to stop and have a look around. The car park is good plenty of spaces and I parked the car far away enough so nobody will hit my doors, you know what I mean.. It's my pet hate especially when I do my best to look after my dream car. Anyway yeah it's a nice shopping centre plenty of shops and I suppose a much needed Woolies. Goolwa has sure had a population boost.. Well done... Oh and the photo below was taken from my local shopping centre in metro Adelaide... See what I mean about shopping center car parks

Good range of supplies

Easy to get in an out of Woolies same prices as Adelaide not like port Lincoln prices way more expensive there. I quite like the shop in center has just what i need for a quick visit & Car parks are easy to get especially on holidays & weekends due to visitor's my preferred place to shop ********

Just nipped in to buy a few groceries and fill a script whilst passing through. Parked my motorhome in the carpark no fuss woolies was clean and we'll stocked large chemist opposite and a few specialty shops in the mall,to easy !
