These guys are great! Today I made it into the store after the cut off time for kayak hire that was communicated to me when I called yesterday. But the lady at the desk was incredibly forthcoming and I was able to zip out and back with no fuss. That’s not to say their generous approach should be taken advantage of ie. don’t follow my lead and rock up at the tail end of the day. Great experience folks, thanks v much!

We rented packrafts from Horizon Line, and had an incredible day out at the whitewater stadium. The staff were super friendly, knowledgeable and experienced kayakers. The shop is super well stocked for all kinds of paddling needs - would highly recommend!!

I just bought a Wilderness Systems Tsunami 125 kayak from Horizon Line Canoes and couldn't be happier with the service and the product. I live in Canberra, yet despite three lakes and numerous waterways in the ACT there is no longer a dedicated kayak store, and a very limited range of craft at the usual sports and outdoor centres. I've been looking to upgrade for some time and the Tsunami seemed ideal. After an online search I discovered Horizon Line was a dealer/imported of the brand. I exchanged a few emails and phone calls with Jason from the store at Emu Plains and he offered sensible suggestions on the model based on my needs, size and weight etc. and choice of paddle. Finally took the plunge last Friday (sight unseen) and when I asked about delivery times was told the owner, Ben, was heading down this way on a trip to the snow that weekend and could deliver it to our front door. Obviously that was a fluke as far as timing but talk about going above and beyond the call of duty. Anyhow, come 6.am on Sunday morning I was the proud owner of a new quality American made kayak and a few hours later was out on the water as happy as can be. I thoroughly recommend Horizon Line for your next watery adventure and look forward to visiting the store one day when in Sydney.

Rented a few brand new Kokopelli packrafts for the whitewater course, and the rafts and service couldn’t have been better. Will be back!

And using their expertise are able to provide advice that is right for you. They helped me when I was a Newby, back in 2017, and I am now a return customer (2022)$. I am happy to recommend their service.

I recently needed repair to my touring kayak and was advised by the importer that "if anyone can fix it, Ben at Horizon Line can.
Their advice turned out to be spot on. Horizon Line sourced the required components and restored my kayak perfectly. They were prompt, reasonably priced and super helpful. Horizon Line is situated a considerable distance from my home, but they've definitely earned my loyalty for future purchases.

I have been shopping at Horizonline for years because the quality of service is second to none. I have to congratulate Ben for his attention, great precision and dedication to his work. I write from Italy. I contacted a dozen resellers in Australia to find out if it was possible to ship a Kayak produced in Australia and not found in Europe. Not only is Ben one of the few who responded, but for three months he tried everything he could to organize this expedition. He had various estimates made. He ordered the Kayak. He packed it up to have an accurate size and weight for the latest shipping quote. When we received it we were both saddened, as it seemed done, but, instead, in the end the costs had become so high that it was impossible to purchase. And here I appreciated Ben's honesty. I also would have spent that money, but he, against his interest, advised me to leave it alone. He was truly a great professional, like few in the world (and it's worth saying!) Thanks again to Ben for all the support and if one day in my life I go to Sydney, I'll drop by in his shop!
