IL CAPO Trattoria

Friday 11/8/23 went out for my Daughters Birthday. The restaurant presentation was authentic and looked great. The restrooms were clean and staff were friendly. Food was nice and looked great. Had a delicious prawn cocktail that took me back to the 80’s. The Veal scallopini was tender but the sauce was a little salty, still delicious. Had a Classico pizza that was really nice. The crust was incredible. Only thing that would have improved it was if it was wood fired. It’s licences with a great variety of drinks on the menu at standard prices and plenty of choice of food. Il Capo Trattoria is a hidden gem and worth a visit. Thank you for making my daughters 21st dinner special.

I never knew this was an option to go eating out, but I am glad I got to experience this venue last night!
Food never looks as gorgeous as advertisements - however the food placed in-front of me was something I was ready to enjoy.
Our group may be a little loud, friendly and somewhat inappropriate - the staff were able to banter with us, they were friendly and delightful.

If you ever want a good cocktail, good starters, good mains and friendly service- I highly recommend coming here!

We sat outside as it was a nice evening came here on a Saturday I was ready too eat lol…
My daughters had pasta dishes while I op too graze like a cow and order adleast four dishes too eat and washed it down with bottle of riccadonna .. dessert tiramisu and vanilla cannoli delicious

Beautiful quaint little restaurant. Staff were amazingly helpful and friendly and the traditional Italian dishes were a great representation of true Italian dining. Will definitely be making this a regular spot for dinner. Thank you for a wonderful date night.

Just had a fabulous meal with work colleagues. Excellent food and service. The meal was so much I had to take 1/2 home!! Dessert was yum too!!

My daughter told about this beautiful little restaurant saying how great the tastes are .
And she was right .
We started with the trio of arronchini balls and this was a good choise .
Loved the passion the Chef had for the food coming out and greeting us and giving some in site to the way the flavors come together .
I tried the 1kg chilli mussels. And wow that sauce was to die for . I asked for medium and it was spot on My wife had the Arrabiata and enjoyed the flavors .
Desert was the Tartufo and the Teramisu and a beautiful coffee . Couldn't fault anything. I even tried a wine I have never had before and also enjoyed it to .
Will have to go back to try other dishes and the pizza .

Fifth visit and third chicken schnitzel- they’re incredible!!!!! Pasta is homemade goodness and the garlic bread is sensational!!!!

Amazing service from all the staff. So friendly, helpful and efficient.

Hats off to the hardworking chef / owner who comes out to greet all his patrons at every table.

Warm, inviting and relaxing family atmosphere. Worth more than 5 stars & worth the drive if you aren’t a local!

What a beautiful experience. Food was exceptional. You can tell the chef has a passion for food. The service was so nice. Family business and everyone actually cared.

What a great authentic Italian restaurant, food was delicious and great portion sizes. We were able to swap the linguine for gnocchi in one of the dishes which was great. Fully licensed and reasonable prices. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend this hidden gem.

Far out the food was good. Like seriously good. My partner and I have travelled all over europe and agreed this was the best italian we have had out of italy. 11/10 will definitely be back.

With a work group, all amazing food and I had a vegan pizza which was delicious.

The food here is phenomenal! Each meal that was served here was amazing, and the chef even comes out to ask you how your meal is! You can't skip out on this place!

Gastronomically wonderful.
We had the ail Capo Pasta, it was creamy, delicious and filling. The garlic bread was crispy, tasty and oh so buttery.
Will DEFINITELY be back to try the other mains.

Seriously delicious Italian food & really great service, they made us feel very welcome. Nice sized serves & had a gluten-free pasta option. Definitely one to re-visit to try more things on the menu.

Food was delicious. So fresh and yummy. We loved the bruscetta and garlic bread, and all our mains. Great place to get dinner

After living in the area for awhile we decided to head down and try Il Capo!

- Starters : The bruschetta was amazing. Best bruschetta I’ve ever had.

- Mains : we had the Gnocchi and the Arrabbiata. I’ve never had Arrabbiata before and I’m so thankful I’ve had it there. I opted for spicy and it delivered , the gnocchi was amazing too. We couldn’t get through the pasta but we took it home with us after the big serves of bruschetta.

Staff was really friendly and helped us out with the menu. Met the owner too and is a very great guy, gave me some really good tips on pasta and some new ideas he’s trying. Real care for the community which is awesome.

What a great little place - the food was amazing - we shared a pizza, then had a pasta dish each. The staff were friendly, service was excellent and we were too full for dessert - but couldn’t resist a classic tiramisu so we asked for takeaway. Very reasonable prices - we’ll definitely be back!

I love this restaurant. Such lovely staff, an amazing atmosphere, delicious food, and everytime I go, they know just how to make perfect pasta. Very impressed and have taken the family out there a couple of times, and I will continue to go!
