Great little cafe, very unique atmosphere through the great decorations everywhere.
Food was delicious, fast service and very friendly.
The food plates were decorated with flowers, very much in the theme of the cafe. Reasonable prices and 100% worth it.
10/10 highly recommend

Beautiful presentation,delicious food,lovely professional staff, calm and welcoming ambience.Was happy to see they look after the planet by making a small charge for takeaway cups, a good incentive to bring your own.

This place is just beautiful, from the quirky and well-composed decor through to the amazing service - be prepared to feel welcome as soon as you walk throughthe door. The pastries are delicious and baked fresh; if you're around Albany for a while it's worth working your way through the menu and tasting as many of the guilty pleasures as you can. They have a large communal table if you're feeling like a chat with some new friends or there are a couple of tables tucked away for a more intimate vibe...

I finally got to try out this warm and quaint French cafe after missing it during my last trip down to Albany! It is under new ownership and it had such a lovely Parisian atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food 😌 how adorable is the crockery and flower decor 🥺 I will definitely be back!

Such a nice and beautiful coffee ! I love all the attention for details, nice spots to seat with your friends. The food is great, we took the œufs cocottes (a nice idea from France 🥰). Highly recommend this place !!!

This place is legit! Really friendly great service. I just had an amazing breakfast. Highly reccommend the egg dish in the pot with ham off the bone. So tastey! Great coffee and the blueberry almond tart to finish was ridiculously good! Seriously good all round. Thanks guys!

Fantastic little cafe with so much character. Get in earlier because sometimes by 11:30 they are already closed because they sell out. We had a panini, oeuf cocotte (baked eggs), a croissant, escargot pastry, apple tarte tartine. All the pastries were warmed up and dishes presented beautifully with flowers and herbs. Delicious flavours and fairly fast service. Definitely the best baked good in all of Albany and Denmark.

Lorraine, Dave and the whole team are exceptional in many areas that make your going out experience really worth while. You see happy smiles, warm interactions and a lovely vibe of decor inside that is really unique to any cafe I have ever seen. Now that they’re opening a spot for sundowners I know we as a family and my clients and friends will be there more often. Thank you guys oh and the food is delicious! Care, consideration and heart goes into this business 🤩

What an absolute gem for breakfast in Albany! Prepare to be transported to the heart of France with this cosy and beautifully decorated cafe. I had the spiced rice/porridge which was so satisfying and filling. My husband had the baked eggs which were cooked to perfection. We couldn't resist getting some pastries to take away which were also delicious. Staff were very attentive and friendly with prompt service. We'll have to return as there were so many other things we wanted to try. Highly recommend!

We travel from Perth to Albany just for the food at this place!
The croissants, quiches and brownies are TO DIE FOR.

The new owners are friendly and have done an amazing job of maintaining the quality and authenticity of this place.

Utterly UTTERLY Devine !

This small french style eatery is an absolute must!! The atmosphere radiates warmth, comfort and a moment to settle into some of the most delicious and decadent foods available in Albany.

I was welcomed with smiles and laughter by the lovely staff, had a delightful chat with the new and old owners who advised me with alacrity on the fabulous options for sale.

I decided apon the smaller portioned ham cheese and tomato croissant and what I was presented with completely exceeded my expectations !!!
It arrived steaming looking like a piece of art with a fragrant flavour palette to match.

If you don't visit Gourmandise & Co while in Albany,
You are missing out !

This place gets ten stars!! Lovely, homely little cafe specializing in French eats, well crafted and beautifully presented. You can tell a lot of love went into the food and the coffee was excellent. First rate experience that won't break the bank. Can not recommend highly enough!!

Enjoyed a lovely breakfast at Gormandaise & Co. What amazing atmosphere this shop has. Feels like you have walked into a cafe in France. I decided to try the Baked Eggs and my wife the Spiced Rice.
Baked Eggs were presented in a small ceramic dish which was eramic dish which was cooked in the wood fired pizza oven. Delicious combination of egg, sliced potato and herbs.
The spiced rice was very delicious and came with maple syrup for those with a sweet tooth. It was spiced with Indian Chai spices and was very enjoyable.
We will go back.

A must go too. Little piece of France in downtown Albany. Cakes a little pricey, but do taste amazing. Croissant was exceptional.

When in Albany I look forward to breakfast at this well-loved French bakery on Stirling Terrace. The best buttery and flaky croissants and delicious quiches from the wood-fired oven and for a treat today, oeuf cocotte with this morning's fresh baguette.

What an awesome experience a little bit of Europe in Albany. Food, coffee and staff are all amazing. Highly recommend...
