IGA Albany

This supermarket can be relied on to be open almost every day of the year. Albany is renowned for not having their businesses open during peak public holiday times or during winter. Why this happens is beyond my comprehension as we are supposed to be a 'tourist' destination, however IGA near Stirling Terrace has always catered to visitors & 'locals' alike. They have a dedicated staff who do their best to cater to those visitors who find that the 'big name' supermarkets are closed during weekends, particularly Sundays.

Everything you need is open at great hours, and the Leonetti family has done so much for the town. Great fresh produce and Steve always has a smile on his face. Amazing international produce also highly recommend and great jod guys keep up the hard work

I rang these guys to see if they had cinnamon quills. The guy ran around the store to check for me-unfortunately they didn’t. But it saved me a trip. He was really nice about it. Suggested which other stores I could go to. Exactly the behaviour that makes me keep going back there. Also great that they’re open when everyone else in Albany is closed. Well done guys.

Excellent service, great staff who are friendly and always keen to help. They’re also happy to try and order in stuff if you can’t find what you’re looking for.

Good for all your shopping open 7 days

Always full of yummy take-home meals, made fresh!! Their Lasagne is made the old-fashioned Authentic Italian way and i was surprised how delightful it was. Prices could be a little better. But for an early open, late closing Shop its good!

Very decently stocked with all essentials, i was happy to see lot of cheese varieties. Open till 9pm which makes life easier for locals & tourists. There is a smoke shop in side IGA as you enter which is added advantage for smokers or vapers..

Honestly my favourite supermarket in albany. Been going there for years. Prices aren't always the cheapest but the service is good and the sales when they are on are outstanding.
Also got they rural supermarket cosiness that just makes it more welcoming.

Great range of products. Bought ready made meals there today. Very very nice. Can recommend. Also they have a hot bar there too. Again, would recommend. Veggie options too.

The only supermarket open in Albany on Sunday. Big range, great gourmet/deli section. Thank goodness for IGA.

Friendly staff. Seemed to be lots of different variety to choose from. I was in a rush so couldn't stop for to long. But if I had more time, I definitely would've stayed longer. Prices were very reasonable as well.

Excellent shop for that late shopping after work or on the weekend when others are shut, open quite late closing at 10pm,
reasonable prices and friendly staff eager to assist with finding what you need..
Edit: This place just gets better the staff are awesome and the service is the same excellent all round..

Friendly customer service, particularly from Alex. Always has a ready smile and presents in a professional manner. The store has had some positive changes in the last few years. Only drawback is the lack of parking for disabled shoppers. The store is easy to access. The is now a hot food buffet available for takeaways, and if you enjoy a sandwich or bread roll for lunch, the IGA deli counter is great.

I liked the staff wearing Easter masks :)
Also we bought some takeaway food, panini and salad for our hikes, they tasted great!
