Hooked On Middleton Beach Fish & Chips

One of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Deliciously crumbed, cooked perfectly, not oily, and lovely chips. Absolutely worth the visit! The healthy bowl is a great option for something lighter as well, and there were heaps of other options available!

Beautifully fresh fish. We ordered a mix of fish types that were battered and grilled. We had fish and chips, fish tacos and fish burger. It was all excellent. The salad was fresh and flavoursome. Not greasy in the slightest. The chips were left unsalted for us to add our own seasoning which was wonderful. Lovely atmosphere inside and family friendly with fish tank and colouring in. The local beer was fresh and tasty. Worth a visit!

Just had an awesome feed from this Fish & Chips place. This place was packed when we came in and rightly so.

The fish was not fishy and you didn’t feel like you felt sick from eating all this fried stuff. Had the hooked platter, fish burger and seafood basket. Every thing was tasty, cooked nicely and the place is is clean and efficient service. Fish and chip craving satisfied ⭐🙌🏽

Lunch was the best, so fresh & tasty (the local fisherman even delivered freshly caught fish while we were there).
Very generous serving size, super fast service & beautiful friendly staff. Not cheap but worth EVERY cent. Licensed so made the most of it& enjoyed a wine with lunch.
Wish we lived locally it would be a weekly treat! Highly Recommend.

We ordered a platter for 2 which came with calamari, 2 small local fish, prawns, sweet potato wedges, salad, pickled onions and pickled squid. Served with the homemade tartare sauce and garlic aioli.

Amazing. Fresh, tasty seafood cooked to perfection. No fishy smell/taste. Prawns had a crunch and was juicy, calamari soft and flavourful, the fish (??? Cod during our visit) moist and grilled with lemon pepper, wedges crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

The pickled onions were a nice surprise to complement the flavours of the platter, providing a tangy and sweet pop of flavour with every bite.

No regrets coming here and the great service definitely made an impression on us. By far my favourite fish and chips joint in Australia.

Honestly couldn't rate the food higher! Super delicious. The meal sizes and the taste was ridiculous. Will definitely be back before we leave!

Been a long time between drinks as the saying goes, but so glad to be back for simply the best fish chips ever. Congrats to you all...simply super...we will be back later in the week for another serve absolutely.

Fantastic local fish n chip shop. Sells variety of FRESH LOCAL fish, its unique in its choice of fish regularly having such delights as dhu fish, cobbler (denmark), pinky, queenie, spanish mackeral, nannygai, whiting, different sharks, all fresh as and cooked very well in batter or grill.
Another plus is this restaurant is clean as a whistle despite being pretty darn busy. Service is great, meals are all very fresh, good salad choices too.
They pickle a mean onion if you like them sour and like granma made them.
This place is consistently excellent.

Never oily cooked to perfection, flavoured grill, or battered. Additional meals to share on the menu, some are seasonal, cost are up depending on choice. Seafood makes your taste bud unsettled with joy. Service was very prompt with a smile

Best Fish and chips around,there's also a menu with a variety of seafood, wedges, salads, dine inside or outside, staff are great and your order is brought out to you. Definitely recommend .

I would give a better rating than the other famous fish n chips in Albany. Can not feel any excess of frying oil from the food. Bravo.

I had grilled fish and chips and curry sauce, my husband had the tropical basket and we shared a large Greek salad. Everything was delicious, fresh and not greasy at all. I particularly loved the curry sauce it was delicious. Highly recommend.

We recently ordered a large order of fish and chips for a school trip. The service was exceptional, on time and the staff were happy to help getting the boxes into the car.

Food was also of an amazingly quality, especially considering the size of the order.

The food was divine. We ordered mackerel which is a little firmer than some fish but it was absolutely beautiful. First time I’ve eaten it. The sea scallops were omg tender. The chips were also better than what we’ve tasted. I’m not generally a fan of batter, the batter on the food was light, non greasy and didn’t give me a gut ache. We ordered take out and were told it would be 15 mins. 15 mins later I was walking out with out order.

The best fish and chips we’ve had for a very long time. Cooked perfectly, great service and meals came out quickly
