Wow, Wow, Wow - had an amazing 3 night stay at La Maison St Arnaud B&B. A belated review but needed to share - we were welcomed by a Super Host Kellie. Looked after with sensational breakfasts, fine night caps and comfy rooms 10/10.

This was our second visit to Kellie’s place in Rutherglen and we would happily come again. It’s a quiet location but a short walk into town for dinner at one of the excellent eateries. The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable and the sitting rooms allow you to spread out and be comfortable. Her breakfast is excellent and if you need a nightcap there’s a decanter of fine local tokay. Many great wineries to visit in the area so recommend staying as long as you can.

A beautiful house with big rooms, comfortable beds, and well appointed bathrooms.
Spacious shady front veranda is a great place to enjoy a late afternoon vino.
Kellie is a welcoming friendly host, and we enjoyed chatting with her over breakfast.
I can’t fault this bnb, and will definitely make a return visit. Thanks Kellie.

Kellie is an exceptional host. We loved our stay in Rutherglen and will definitely be back at La Maison St Arnaud. The breakfasts were delicious and Kellie’s home is warm and inviting. Don’t stay in those cheap and nasty motels, give yourself a relaxing and comfortable stay here! Our dog, Molly, also rates this place 5 stars :)

Kellie is a most excellent hostess and the rooms are incredibly cosy, comfy & welcoming. It’s in a really great location and an easy stroll into the main drag. Add to that a really delicious and generous breakfast and you’ve got a magical time away.
I really can’t recommend this place enough and we’ll definitely be returning customers. HIGHLY recommended (times 1,000).

Kellie was very welcoming, and cooks a delicious breakfast. Large rooms, other guests were friendly and dogs welcome! Will stay again :)

A warm stay in the Rutherglen.

My wife and I recently spent four lovely nights at La Maison St Arnaud B&B. (though I should say 4 glorious breakfasts) for along with Kellie the lovely hostess with the mostess… this was a high point of our trip to the Rutherglen region. Breakfast was delicious each morning and the warmth and care that Kellie put into our little holiday was thoughtful and really made a lovely stay.

My family and I had the absolute pleasure of spending the night with Kellie at St Arnaud on our way to Melbourne for Xmas. We woke on Xmas eve and enjoyed the incredible breakfast! Such an amazing start to our celebrations. A belated review but wanted to share due to the incredible memories I have of our stay. If ever you visit Rutherglen be sure to book your stay with Kellie. A natural host (with a gifted green thumb), in a beautifully kept historic home, surrounded by amazing wine country. Certainly worth the short detour. A real Australian gem worth discovering!

Thank you Kellie for the most wonderful stay. We loved our two nights spent in Rutherglen. Your property is full of charm and character. Our room had the most comfortable bed and the breakfast not only was yummy but gave us the feeling of being in the south of France (with no need for passports). Rutherglen experience was all the better thanks to all your recommendations. Hoping to come again.

We had the pleasure to stay here in January on our way back from Melbourne to Sydney. It was a great place to stay and break up the journey and re charge the batteries. Kellie was an excellent host and recommended that we try the Thousand pound restaurant for dinner, it certainly didn’t disappoint. Kellie served up a great breakfast the next day. We also picked up a family pie for dinner from the local bakery. What a sensational pie it was!

Kellie was an amazing host and her BnB was just so lovely and homely. Kellie went above and beyond to make our stay a great experience. On the day of check out I was unwell and Kellie was kind enough to give us a super late checkout with no strings attached. I travel a lot and it's rare to find this level of service these days - thanks Kellie!

This is a really beautiful Airbnb. The host, Kellie, is an absolute gem- Hugely welcoming and friendly, but also totally professional and treats it like a business. Rutherglen town is stunning and the local area wineries are lovely too.

Beautiful old homestead, run by a charming and affable host. Rooms are spacious and clean, breakfasts are delicious and best all, it's very pet friendly!
