Georgie is an absolute wizard behind the lens. She is incredibly skilled in what she does, and the images speak for themselves. She captured our day in its true authentic form, capturing the love, laughter and raw emotion. Every time I look back at these images I am able to relive the pure joy and love we felt on our special day. Georgie made us feel super relaxed and at ease in front of the camera. We could not recommend her enough!!

It speaks wonders that, even after a year post my wedding, there was always a need for me to post this review. To remember our special day and having clear memories of Georgie and her team being the highlight, and the best of my many suppliers.
She guided my wife and I in all manners, from preperation, ideas and direction on our wedding day.
Her photos and quality of work speaks for themselves, as I believe she is one of the best photographers in the region. I will share a snap that she capture of my wife and our niece and nephew (It's one of my favourites from the day).
I do not think that you will have any regrets choosing Georgie. Thank you again Georgie, and even though I'm late to the game to review your services, it is fondly remembered, 1 year later - and surely I will continue to remember your photos a decade later.

I cannot even begin to describe how incredible Georgie has been. If you are looking for a wedding photographer and just a down to earth awesome person STOP! don't go any further! I always knew that wedding photography was a big ticket item for me. I am not an instagram person, nor do I even like having my photo taken, but as Georgie is astutely aware... when the dust settles on your big day, you only have the photos to look back on.

Georgie is... what you see is what you get in the best possible way. She will listen to what you want out of your photos but will provide invaluable advice on what will work and what won't. She is honest about this because she wants to be realistic about what you can get out of your timeline for the day, so there are no shocks or disappointments. Georgie and office manager Bec reply to emails immediately. Georgie had three pre-wedding meetings to get to know us as a couple and then to nut out the particulars for the day. She also recommended a legend Videographer (Brandon Carr) with whom she has worked with before. She was at our venue the day before sussing out the best sunset locations so that we could get straight into it on the day. I received a huge sneak peak album and a reel within 24 hours of the event.

To Georgie's work...look online for yourself. It is stunning! I love that not once did I feel awkward or staged or uncomfortable on my big day. She has an ability to capture the moment and arrange the room/people without you even knowing. I love her style of authentic candid's. Like any styles, wedding photography styling comes and goes. I look at some of the staged photos of my parents and cringe. But Georgie's work is timeless. Its natural, it captures true emotion and works with the beauty of the venue and landscape. Sure, we had our standard bridal party and staged photos (on request of the parents) but after this everything was captured without us even knowing. That in itself is a gift, when we look back through the album we see photos from moments we can't even remember ourselves.

Georgie goes above and beyond, and I'm sure you can see from the rest of the reviews its not just for us. She genuinely invests in all her clients and it really shows. Thank you for everything you have created for us Georgie, cannot wait to see all the photos!!! Jess and Kane

We had Georgie take some pictures for our new business and she has exceeded our expectations!! She made us feel so comfortable and we cannot wait to use her again in the future. We let her take control of the whole session and we are so glad we did. Highly recommend!

From my first enquiry to Georgie online to the exciting email from her letting us know that our wedding gallery was ready, she was an absolute dream to work with!! On the day, Georgie was super fun & had a calming presence which really helped ease my nerves. My husband and I got married at Brown Brothers and we had photos taken in the 'woods' with the beautiful tall trees and to be honest, carrying my veil, lifting up my dress and trying not to trip in my heels wasn't easy, but my goodness it was all worth it. Every single one of our photos is EPIC. As we looked through our finished gallery, we were in total shock. Photo after photo, we were both saying, "this one is my favourite, no THIS one is my favourite!". To anyone getting married, we would totally recommend Georgie without a doubt! Where do I start? From the moment I first discovered Georgie on instagram, I literally felt a warm, joyful vibe from her work, which was a HUGE part of why we reached out to lock her in for our wedding day. From the first communication, right through to the day, Georgie was very knowledgeable, keeping us on track and to schedule to ensure we were on time. We had a lot of fun photographing with her, and from the photos that we have already seen (I can't stop looking at them!), we CANNOT wait until we receive the rest as we know Georgie has captured our day so perfectly. It's so clear why she's one of the top photographers in Victoria. Honestly, do not look further if you're after a wedding photographer. Georgie will make you feel at ease throughout the process.

I don't even know where to begin with how amazing it was to have Georgie on our day!
She captured our wedding more perfectly than we could have imagined, not one moment was missed and it the boys found the photos to be one of the funnest part of the day (and we all know how difficult boys can be with photos!)
From the start of the booking process to the wedding day to the weeks after the wedding Georgie was nothing but professional, caring and understanding of how we wanted our wedding to be captured and remembered! And the beautiful post wedding gift was just the cherry on top of an already perfect service!

Georgie’s photos speak for themselves. If you love her photography, everything else is a dream. She was professional, efficient with photo turn around, gave us little tips and ideas in the lead up to the big day. Georgie perfectly coordinated our family through photos while maintaining the atmosphere. She was utterly professional and relaxed and organised both prior to and on the wedding day.

Georgie's work is absolutely stunning! She photographed our wedding our earlier this year and we were wrapped with how quickly the photos were returned to us, but especially with the quality of the images! We have started to print some of the photos and the quality is second to none. We were also gifted a print from Georgie shortly after the wedding which helped us to relive our day before we had the chance to print them ourselves. It was all a dream.
We had our intimate family wedding at the end of October 2022. I found Georgie simply by googling Photographers Bright Vic. She was like finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. From the very start Georgie was the consummate professional. We met via a relaxed zoom call, loved her energy and style and booked her in. She understood from the beginning our vision and what we needed of her for our wedding.
On the day nothing was to much trouble for Georgie. She was great at drawing kids and difficult adults in for those necessary family photos. We received a sneak preview of the photos before our newly wed glow had disappeared ...not even 24 hours latter!!
Georgie works utter magic with that lense! The photos were more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. I truly appreciate Georgies style and artistic styling of special wedding items which are now forever keepsakes in a photo. Many of the photos look like they are straight out of a fashion magazine. High end amazing!!! I will forever be grateful for Georgie calming my nerves, straighting up my veil, helping fix in a hair clip and giving reassurance to me for any little things I was unsure about on the day. Her patience, her sense of humour and her natural talent is a true gift.

Georgie was an amazing photographer for our wedding. Lots of attention to detail, lots of patience (9/25 guests were under 6 years old!) and we got some terrific family photos. She had a plan for locations for shoots and had obviously put a lot of effort into scouting the right spots for the right lighting/time of day. Would highly recommend Georgie for any special occasion, photos are of excellent quality.

If there were more stars to give we would!! Georgie James was fabulous and it is a rare occasion that your expectations can be exceeded beyond belief.
