Stayed here for a few nights after relocating from interstate and waiting for a rental to be available. Great self contained cabins with everything you could possibly need. Laundry area was spotless when we went to do some loads and reception happy to swap notes for coins. Beautiful forest surroundings and a stone's throw from the Barron river. Would definitely recommend.

Great camp surrounded by mountains in an ideal location to explore Cairns area and Kuranda. Lovely cool pool and great happy hour 4-6 most days. Amenities nice and clean.

We were greeted by Karen and Ruth when we arrived. They were both very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here a couple of times for a week or so each time.
Yes it’s a little way out from the city centre but not far.
It’s tranquil, it’s got a decent pool and communal kitchens, the bathrooms are immaculate!
Staff here are super friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back.
It does sort of feel more appropriate for older crew or families who are off doing something most days. Not much for the kids to do, but safe, quiet and clean. Couldn’t ask for much better, well priced and all very fair.

This has to be one of the best kept secrets. Large caravan sites, quiet area with top facilities close to Cairns but far enough away to not have traffic. Great swimming pool area and one of the best camp kitchens i have ever seen. Small eatery with good food. A perfect spot to stay.

Beautiful campsite at the beginning of the rainforest.
Nice swimming pool.
It has all the facilities that you might need.
Lots of wildbirds going around during the night, I personally like it.

Stayed here overnight.
Fantastic well maintained park.
The girls at the front are lovely and helpful.
The pool is just perfect on a warm day.
The grounds, amenities , and facilities are spotless, credit to all staff

We booked at least 6 weeks in advance for a powered site.
Unfortunately for us our site was right on the entry point to the toilets and it was disappointing to hear all of the grunting, groaning and the noise from the hand drier etc, not to mention the foot traffic passing endlessly.
Absolutely no privacy.
This site should be heavily discounted , offered up only if someone is last minute desperate for a stay or at least increased partition installed.
Obviously no rhythm or rhyme from the booking dates, but first in best dressed applies.
I’ll give you a tip, ask that you don’t have site # 75.

This park is fabulous. The cafe provided, dollar for dollar, one of the best burgers eva. Great value for money, fresh and tasty. Great chips.
The park is clean, lots of garden and screening, clean modern amenities. We've had a lovely two nights here. Even, street lighting is on sensor lights so no crazy bright lights at night 👍

We enjoyed our stay. The gardens are beautiful, very well maintained and peaceful. The grounds and amenities were clean. The cafe was a bonus, I had the best smashed avo on toast, ever! Happy hour was fantastic too. I'd definitely stay again.

After the cyclone lake placid was highly damaged in the floods😭, and the area around lake placid has alot of debris, beautiful spot.
Hope all other facilities will open as quickly as possible.

Good access for large vans, tractor positioning if needed, very quiet shady park with large clean amenities. Nice shady pool and camp kitchen, cool breeze up against the foot hills, office has coffee shop/ Cafe and cheap happy hour beer/wine 4-5pm. Very friendly/accommodating staff. TV booster points/cables available. Centrally located for most attractions/ day trips around Cairns. One of the nicest parks we've ever stayed in, highly recommended.

This was such a beautiful park. We could have stayed longer than our 4 days here. Everyone is so lovely! We had a meal at the cafe/bar onsite and it was delicious. The dogs were welcomed 🐾 staff so friendly and helpful. Surrounded by rainforest 🍃 facilities so clean.
