We were day visitors. The cafe/shop was nice and the staff in there were lovely. The kids loved the facilities, but there was one life guard who seemed to be randomly telling various (not just mine) children off. Having watched them for a while, I came to the conclusion that he was grumpy and taking it out on the various kids there. The place seemed clean and maintained. Our friend's cabin looked small, but good.

I arrived on a Wednesday night, got a quiet site just to stay the night.
They have a warm spa, pool and play areas. And on Thursday morning they have free pancakes!
They have activities almost everyday. Friday and Saturday is outdoor movies!
So much fun

I just do not recommend the massage. I was in pain, so I booked remedial massage and when I left I was feeling worst then before. I need some pain killers to manage my day.

This place was amazing! We have stayed at a few BIG4 Parks over the years but nothing compared to this one! If you have kids - stay here. There is a splash park, two pools, both have separate spas. One of those is for adults only. Mini golf, a half basketball court, a tennis court, two bouncing pillows, an arcade and of course, the pedal carts. On Thursday mornings they cooked pancakes for breakfast, for the guests, for free! The cleanliness of the cabins was great. Sometimes it's the little things for me, like having 2 tea towels and more than 1 washing powder packet to do laundry. Especially when you have 5 people in your family.
We did notice that the spots for caravans were quite good and they had level concrete pads as well as palm trees for some privacy. And the ones with ensuites looked well maintained.
The parks itself was extremely well maintained and had loads of gardens. They had a cafe you could order from, anywhere in the park via QR codes. It was a bit expensive but you can see/understand why.
Our kids loved this place and so did we. It was well worth the money.

We stayed on a grass site over the long weekend for my partners birthday, and a good weekend was had by all.
She was convinced the weekend was going to be ruined by the unpredictable, ever changing weather - however she was happy to admit she was wrong.
The park did not disappoint, it had lots of entertainment available for both adults and children to enjoy, clean amenities and accomodating staff.
Will definitely be returning soon!

Great place to take children and use as a launching pad to explore the Cairns and Tableland areas. During school holidays, they have a great array of activities for the kids and the permanent features there (swimming pools, slides, jumping pillows, water play area, basketball court, tennis court, mini golf) definitely keep children (and adults) occupied.

Jammed packed facilities for families and kids, water slides, splash park for kiddies, two pools, jumping pillows, gym, mini golf, restaurant and more. The grounds are very well maintained nd the service from all staff was great. A little outside of town, you will need a car - but everything makes up for the short drive into town.

Out extended family had 3 nights at this absolutely wonderful park. Parents and especially the kids didn't stop swimming, playing in the safe and quiet surrounds. Even better, there were free pancakes and Richard the manager was hard flipping them with his team. Everyone so professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Will certainly return as we are local and it's so perfect. Thank you to all the team.

Finally stayed at Big4 Ingenia in Cairns after years of talking about going, and so glad we did! So much to do for the whole family and the convenience store on site is perfect for any items you may have forgot to pack. We stayed over the Easter long weekend and even at peak times still didn't feel overly crowded. Highly recommend a stay here!

My family and I ended up staying at big4 coconut with my husbands cousin and he’s family.
We absolutely loved it! Service was amazing, staff were really friendly and respectful.
I’d definitely come back to cairns again and will HAVE to stay at coconuts.
Only thing I wasn’t happy with was the cockroaches, as I’m allergic. And the fruit ants all over everything. My kids couldn’t sleep bec they had ants on them 😂. I would recommend spare pillows. But honestly I loved the experience. Thank you for the service.

Location is great if you have your own transport. Service was fantastic. Very friendly staff and was something on each day of the school holidays for the children. Some general wear and tear for the age of some of the equipment. Only downside was the gas stove, the little ones kept playing with the knobs so was constantly checking that they were off 🙄

Very nice and clean resort with a lot of activities for kids. The powered sites are spacy and mostly separated by some plants. The little supermarket was awesome to get some coffee for breakfast.
All in all our favorite camp site from our trip from Sydney to Cairns.

We loved staying there with the kids 6yo and 12yo, really kid friendly. We could let them wander independently to the pool or shop which I would not allow anywhere else. It was like letting the kids play out on the neighbourly streets in the 80s. All kids rode bikes, scooters, pedal go karts, came to check in, went off to the pool, went to get icecream etc.
We could actually relax. Will 💯 be back.

Private porch/balcony with BBQ was awesome, grounds were beautifully maintained, staff was helpful and friendly.

Great location of our cabin. Kids could have a game of cricket and have other kids join in. We could watch from the balcony and enjoy them having some fun. Great couple of days had by all.

My kids aged 3 and 5, absolutely love this place. There is always something for them to do or get involved with, especially over the school holiday period. The staff are very nice and helpful and everything in our cabin was very clean. Thanks.

A great, family park. My grandson loved the waterpark and pools. The cabin layout was excellent and the kitchen and utensils covered our needs. The only negatives were the amount of light entering the main bedroom and the difficulty in fitting the sheets to the bunks. The park is a little out of central Cairns but there are food stores and a supermarket close by. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely place. Weirdly located on a highway, but there are plenty of sites well back from the road so you don't hear a thing. Lovely pools, very well maintained, decent sites and amenities, bar and cafe, and more things for kids than you can do in a week. We were there for a week and a half and loved it. I wish we could have stayed longer!

I had a brief stay at the Cairns Coconut Resort and was really impressed by the accessible Villa Superior that I stayed in. There was ramped access from the car space to the front deck and from there, level entry into the villa. There was plenty of room to move around in the living area and bedroom. The accessible bathroom and toilet were also spacious and well designed and switches, controllers and power points were all reachable from a wheelchair. The cafe is accessible and serves good coffee and egg and bacon muffins.
