The Cotton Club

Came here for a small snack and a cocktail. I wanted garlic bread, but they didn't have it on the menu. However, they offered this garlic flatbread. It was nice and it also had a hummus dip On the side, we ordered oyster. The waiter came out and say sorry there was only 5 oysters, so they give us a different side for free. We took the korean chicken. They also gave us the last 5 oysters was nice of the chef to do that.

Definitely one of the best steaks we had at a great price (lucky enough to be in Cairns on a Thursday which is their Steak Night special).
Excellent food presentation and superb taste.The steak was cooked to perfection as well as the chips and onion rings as toppers.The salad was so fresh and the gravy's so good😋
The place has a nice vibe with live music and pleasant staff.
Would go here again if we should come back to Cairns.

I’m a visitor to Cairns and stopped in to The Cotton Club for a drink and dinner.
Atmosphere and staff were lovely. I ordered steak, which I very seldom do at a restaurant because I’m quite fussy about how I like it. Tonight, at The Cotton Club, it was cooked perfectly. Compliments to the chef.

Thursday & Sunday Steak Night for $21 is a must! Loved it 🤩

We had an early dinner there yesterday and my partner and I both ordered the Steak special.

Despite both our steaks being a bit overcooked, the meals were well presented, stupidly great value, and the steaks themselves were succulent and incredibly tasty. They were probably the best we've had in Cairns!

The staff were also very accommodating with making up a special meal for our fussy toddler.

We will definitely be back!

Wow. That word in itself is enough to describe this place. The food is fantastic, yeah it's not a 5* restaurant but it really is amazing. The staff are brilliant, all friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. We had lunch the other day and after sending my compliments to the chef he came from the kitchen to thank me. We went back for our dinner this evening and were amazed again, the portions are generous and again very attentive staff. We would recommend this place to everyone and if we didn't have a flight tomorrow this would be our new local.

Absolutely stellar food, we got several small plates to share - Korean fried chicken bites, garlic prawns and the bread basket, and every one was fantastic quality and absolutely delicious. Reasonable prices for what you got too. Would highly recommend!!

We went here for steak night on a Thursday. The steak was divine(!!) and they had awesome live music. Service was a bit slow but nothing too bad. We sat outdoors and the atmosphere is pretty great. This was one of our favourite eating experiences in Cairns.

For $28 Steak of Origin, you could not beat this! The steak was perfectly cooked, the chips were fresh and tasty. The salad was super yummy and don't even get us started on the toppers! These ribs were INCREDIBLE! Staff were pleasant and welcoming. It wasn't overly crowed for Origin which made the experience more pleasurable for me, it was loud but not so much that you couldn't hear the person next to you talking. The Cotton Club have gained new customers tonight in us! We will be back again to try more yummy food. Oh, GO QUEENSLANDER!!!!!!!

Thursday was rumsteak night. We ordered steak and it was fantastic. Very friendly service. Live music. Good place for good food. We'll come again.

Excellent food and service

Absoulty the best place to go. Hands down completed our stay in cairns. The manager was so amazing very wonderful kind man. The food was cooked to perfection. And the price made the place much more attractive very enjoyable and will be coming back on our next holiday

I got the 300g rump with extra prawn skewer.

What is great about this pub is that they let you select the sides you want with your main.

I wish other pubs follow their example of side selections. No one loves a sad-salad with their steaks.

Wow!!! You must go!! The steak is an absolute banger... can't remember the last time I had a steak this good seriously!!! The meal was huge and the price just incredible 😍 what a great meal keep up the amazing work in that kitchen im honestly super impressed! Thanks guys 😊

I don’t often review but this place deserves a brilliant review. No reservation, no problem! Food was amazing and steak was cooked correctly (doesn’t happen as often as it should), drinks great, service exceptional, if you are in Cairns, get off the esplanade and give the Cotton Club a go, just brilliant!
