Wynnum Garden Chinese Restaurant

Long story short - this is the best Chinese takeaway I have ever had the experience of tasting! We ordered the honey pepper beef, garlic chicken, and seafood supreme and I could not fault a single dish!! I’m a big lover of seafood and find that when I order seafood dishes they tend to come with 80% veggies and 20% meat and this time I was so pleasantly surprised with the portion of meat that came in my meal! The beef in the honey pepper beef was so soft and the flavour was so beautiful, especially paired with the fried rice! The garlic chicken was a safe bet as it’s what I know would go down well with my kids, what I didn’t expect though was that they both went back for multiple portions! When I went to pick up the order, the girl at the front was so friendly and polite and the man in the kitchen came out to say thank you personally and it was such a warm and inviting experience no matter how short lived. Will be coming back again and every time after that!!!!

Best honey chicken!!! My biggest issue at other restaurants is usually not enough honey with the chicken.. but not here! Fried and covered to perfection. Will be back again

The best Chinese food! Delicious and fresh. The chefs/owners make the effort to come out and ask how the food was, which shows that they care. 5 stars!!

We had takeaway Thursday night 16th Nov.Food was hot, veges fresh, delicious.Compliments to the Chef.Its hit and miss these days getting good takeaways but this place was outstanding and we won't be going back to what used to be our regular

Great Chinese Restaurant, all the food are delicious and the really relaxing place.

I was amazed with the Special Dish of San Choy Bow Shandy it had Beef, Sweet & Sour Pork, Chicken and then Shrimp with FRESH Vegetables and Veges in the Fried Rice. If you told me you could have all these meats in one I would tell you it wouldn't work. Don't tell anyone about this Gem of a Restaurant in Wynnum its too good to share.

Great food,always purchase from here,sometimes bit of a wait.I order lemon chicken which is the BEST the sauce is amazing.battered breast chicken not old roasted chicken like some clown commented,must be a novice 😂🤣with Chinese.also black bean is fantastic.Highly recommend if you are a true connoisseur of Chinese food.5 stars.

the honey chicken was AMAZING they also have the vegetarian options that not many places ever have, there food is also really well cooked and seasoned. there spring rolls are my favourite. There is a vip room if you can book and is very fancy.

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner tonight. Satay skewers as an entree, short combination soup, large fried rice and honey chicken and Jerry had dim sims for his entree. And we polished the lot.

Very nice food. Only dislike was we waited 45 minutes. Our fault for not ordering by phone on our way home. Highly recommend the food tho :)

Doesn’t matter if you order during ‘peak time’ or late at night close to closing time, the food from here is ALWAYS hot and fresh! Everyone is always happy and friendly 🙂

I've been going here for 20 odd years, since it was on bay Terrace. I have literally never had a bad dish from here. So good.

You can always get a nice quiet table to dine in at. I love taking my family here as its small but efficient for us. Has all the good simple food.
