Chilli & Basil Thai Restaurant

We decided to try this place few weeks back for the first time. The food was just DELICIOUS!! The chilli basil fried rice is a must have with your meal!! This place serves amazing dishes but what’s even more amazing is the hospitality and the service that is provided for a local family run restaurant. To all Gold Coasters, be sure to try it out. Last night, we dined at this amazing Thai restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was delicious and full of authentic flavors. The customer service was impressive—despite it being our first visit, we felt incredibly welcomed. A special moment was when our daughter received a little gift, making the evening even more memorable. Highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience!

Came across Chilli & Basil Thai restaurant on my way home. I must say I ordered Pad kee Mao and it was quite tasty 😋 I'll definitely be back again.

Staff were very accommodating and attentive.
They took our order quickly, and checked if we wanted the entrees earlier and when we would like our mains. They made sure we were happy with each dish that came out. Very happy with the service and the food!!

Great food, little gem in the area serving nice classic Thai dishes. They happily adjust to different taste levels.

Food has been modernized a lot under the new owner and it is delicious as well. The portion is not too bad for a starving person. Overall, it is one of the best Thai restaurants in town.

We absolutely loved our dinner, we were saying for a year we must try it, and so glad we finally did, the food and owners were amazing. We will be back to our local for sure 😁

SO GOOD! My dad showed me this restaurant and since then I’ve been back a few times and it is always so delicious. The staff are so friendly and welcoming! I got the laksa with the tofu and vegetables and my partner got the laksa with chicken, soo yummy. The spring rolls are also so tasty. 10/10 definitely a new favourite lunch and dinner spot 😊

Our dinner started with the most wonderful, warm service from the hostess. Our food came out quickly- piping hot crispy roti and succulent satay chicken skewers with peanut dipping sauce. I had the Crispy duck salad- fantastically well balanced and fresh! My husband had the Chef's signature with pork belly and vegetables and we shared a large coconut rice. Very generous portions and exquisitely balanced flavours! We've only gotten takeaway from these lovely restaurateurs before but we will definitely be dining in on the regular!

Just have to share what an amazing restaurant. The food is excellent and the staff is very accommodating. The service is excellent even from the greeting when you walk in the door. Belle and Be we can't wait to visit again. Keep up the great work. Ps try the desserts. Yum 😋

Best Thai food we’ve found on the Gold Coast - has fast become a family favourite. Friendly service (including for great interactions with my kids). Recommend their signature dish, curry puffs and Thai iced tea.

Lovely food & lovely family who run this place. Tucked away so need to enter car park of Crestwood Shopping centre off Olsen avenue to find their front entrance but once you find it I’m confident you’ll return again & again. Definitely worth giving a try… tell em the lady in the pink car sent you 😊

Curry puffs the best I’ve ever had. So good! Had the pan fried dumplings and the Pad See Ew and were wrapped. Just popped in for a quick bite but will definitely be back with a larger party.

We recently moved into the area and Thai is our most favourite food. This Thai restaurant took us completely by surprise with its absolutely authentic dishes!
The flavours are out of this world and every dish we have tried so far has its own signature flavour and every time we are blown away with how tasty every dish is!
The service is right up there with the best also by this friendly Thai family.
Bell and B are the friendliest, happy people and truly wonderful at their jobs!
Don’t waste another second Gold Coast and try this amazing restaurant I promise you, you won’t regret it and just like us be craving for more!!!

Beautiful food and great delivery service. Have ordered a few times now and every dish is delish with quick delivery & bonus of being free when spend $60. Highly recommend
