Ollie's Italian

Beautiful location, great service, delicious food & cocktails… Had the seafood pasta 2 years ago - been thinking about it ever since, so had to come back & get it again last week! Again, did not disappoint. 😋

Side note: I actually can’t believe how many negative reviews are on here, because we have eaten at Ollie’s maybe 4 or 5 times, and never had a bad experience. We always book a table online prior (there’s a tip for those whinging about waiting to be seated!) & all staff have always been terrific.

The best seafood spaghetti ever. It was delicious with a bit of chilli oil drizzled on top (you have to ask for this). Restaurant staff all amazing and attentive and the view 🙌 we had the seafood spaghetti twice while on our holiday in Cairns. Great restaurant

I had a lovely dinner at Ollies, the entree and main course were so beautifully presented, and the flavour of the barramundi fillet was superb and just perfect ! The waitress Hannah was so attentive and friendly, I felt so welcomed there. I’ll definitely visit again!

We had a long day on the water and needed a good meal. Ollie’s fit the bill. Our food was amazing, I ordered the surprise me cocktail. I hate surprises so that was out of character for me but our awesome server Hannah let me know they come up with the drink based on what I don’t like. I was glad I trusted in their team. Food and cocktails were the perfect way to end our time in Cairns. Hannah was attentive and energetic. She made our time at Ollies memorable in the best way possible.

As Italians, we are always sceptical when eating at Italian restaurants, but Ollie's did not disappoint. It was amazing. My husband says the Marinara was one of the best he's ever had. Service was impeccable. Highly recommend.

Great food and friendly staff! Never had a better Scotch Fillet and fusilli Carbonara tasted like in Rome!👌

I have been at Ollie’s with a couple of friends and I left truly amazed! Great food and welcoming staff! Very authentic Italian dishes and beautiful presentation. As an Italian myself I truly recommend it, definitely the best restaurant in Cairns!

One of the best Italians I’ve ever been to! We went for my birthday meal here, they had fantastic cocktails and the food was also amazing. We had the burrata to start, then the Parma pizza and carbonara for mains - I’d definitely recommend

Our family had the best night at Ollie’s last night for dinner. Food was amazing, venue is stunning with beautiful waterfront views and we had brilliant service, a big shout out to Hannah and Ihno who were super efficient and had such a great vibe. Next time we’re in Cairns we’ll be back for sure!

Dinner for 30 the other weekend at Ollie's. Delicious food for all courses and service 5 star from our two fabulous waiters, The atmosphere was stunning near the waterfront. Thankyou Ollies for a memorable night.

My wife and I really enjoyed it here. Very cool vibe, friendly service and fantastic food. I had the tenderloin which was so good. My wife had the 4 cheese pasta and loved loved it. The garlic bread was so good too. Oh and the oysters too.

What a beautiful place for lunch! Seated outside to enjoy the breeze and water view. Wood fire pizzas were great. Pasta was just to my liking, creamy & cheesy. Calamari salad was tender and super tasty.

Ollie's Italian Restaurant in Cairns, Queensland, is an ideal spot for a delightful family outing or a satisfying lunch.
The culinary experience, from seating to each delectable dish, was truly outstanding. The menu, curated to perfection, boasts fabulous options, with standouts being the salmon croquettes and beef tartare. We indulged in a variety, including pizzas and desserts, all of which left us thoroughly impressed.

Special thanks to Nati, Brooklyn, and Maira for their humble and excellent service. A memorable dining experience overall.

Food was marvellous, so delicious and sensational. Deserts were fantastic, we had a friendly, cheerful and helpful Spanish girl Albah who waited on our table of 3. Other staffs were friendly and full of smiles too. We are locals and will certainly be going back there.🙏🏻🩷

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Great views food and service. I have obviously never had good Italian food before because this place blew me away. The pasta and pizza bases are so fresh! Signature cocktails are on point! Service was amazing! Great for families or even takeaway. We happened upon this a day into our trip and booked a table again for the final night of our stay and nowhere else we ate compared. There are so many other overrated places around it but this is a real gem.

Very delicious, fresh food. We have eaten one day and came back the next day, because the food was mouth watering.

The customer service from the moment we walked in was perfect, with great and friendly staff.
We started with the oyster the natural ones where amazing do recommend, I will definitely go back for them agin. All our Meals were cooked to perfection with a good amount of seafood in them.
